Only 3 combo typings take a full 50% of dmg from stealth rock

fire/flying

bug/flying

ice/flying

I hardly doubt, that is half the game.

Only 25% dmg to around 30 typings...

Most of which are flying type... And since [bleep]es doesn't hit flying types/levivators... It's fair.

Agreed, stealth rocks damage should be about half what it is.

It wouldn't be quite so broken then.

Boris, you forget that people just use stealth rock and start phazing you every other match now.

25% and 12% damages add up.

Taunt their [wagon] xD Phazers are easy to deal with... Since Roar/Whirlwind have like a -6 priority...

BTW, I swear everysingle page has an arguement about bloody stealth rock. And no it can't be ignored...

No, it isnt fair. It hits 50% damage on some pokemon, that isnt fair. Thats game freak [bleep]ing them over with a bad typing in the first place. 50% on a switch is stupid. 25% for a 4x weakness seems more realistic since [bleep]es isnt rigged.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

I have to agree with Ray here. 50% is definitely too much. Even if it IS only against 3 typings.

Phazing for resudial damage is pointless since roar/whirlwind both have -6 priority, which means the only move (other than other roars and whirlwinds) that will be slower is Trick Room, which is used very rarely.

That means once you being your phazing, your opponent just throws in attacks and in about 2-3 turns you will die.

Imo, the only way to counterbalance SR now is to either give a lot more Pokemon Rapid Spin (why the hell can't Bronzong learn it?) or give a field-type move that counters SR, for example something that acts as a shield against resudial damage for 1 turn.

Whats the point of both of those:

1:You still need a rapid spinner.

2:Stealth Rock is TM so way to many pokemon can carry it so you mainly back at Rapid Spin.

I think Stealth Rock needs to be made like [bleep]es through given the ability to make only 2 layers through Stealth Rock gets the advantage of hitting flying and levitate pokemon.

Well nowadays, all of the good rapid spinners are dead obvious. So once you pull one out, your opponent pulls out Rotom formes or Spiritomb to spin block you. Rapid spinner is a really limited technique that not many strong pokemon can learn, so its too predictable to be of any use (hence the reason why most teams don't even have a rapid spinner). By giving more Pokemon rapid spin, you're making it a lot more unpredictable and a lot more useful. Imagine if something like Bronzong could learn it. Bronzong is terrific for support and has a lot of uses (the only current rapid spinner that kinda shares that role is Starmie), so having Rapid Spin would be a wild card. Or if a Pokemon could learn pursuit and rapid spin, that makes it even better since you can easily dispose of any ghosts that come in your way and get in a rapid spin when they switch out/faint. Imagine something like Metagross being able to learn rapid spin (which, like Bronzong, it should in the first place). You can Pursuit/Shadow ball and kill any ghosts that happen to be there when Metagross switches in, then rapid spin, providing clearance for a BellyZard to switch in.

And when you pit Metagross's bullet punch and meteor mash against Spiritomb, we know who wins.

Next year I think, Ray.

Built my Trick room team. All of them have 0 speed IV except Regigias ::'

My lead is Cresselia, although I should get a faster one that isn't so suspectible to taunt. Suggestions?

Next I have Porygon2 and Slowking, both function as trick roomers and sweepers.

I have a basic resttalk machamp with Dpunch and stone edge (Payback doesn't do much under trick room).

Then Regigigas with Subsitute, Fire punch, Earthquake, and Return.

Finish off with a basic MixedNite.

Going pretty well so far ;)
