I'd stick with dragon boots and use the springs to avoid bandos monsters until you can afford some useful bandos gear such as the chestplate or that shiny sword. There are no Bandos monsters inside the Armadyl area, and there aren't that many Aviansie close to bandos monsters outside, so I don't see how that would be a problem...
