Dark's right, it's ungodly easy to kill your own choppers. You never even see they're yours until they can shoot you or you've shot them. That's why I fire a bullet from my weakest weapon first, then uberpwn them.

What was also slightly amusing one time is that I was hovering the chopper near the Artillery on the End of the Line (Conquest) map. To put it bluntly, I was a sitting duck while I was waiting to see if someone wanted on. All of the sudden, I see an explosion, the tail of the chopper fold up towards the front, and then I die...

Needless to say the enemy decided that an RPG was the perfect counterbalance weight for a helicopter...

Urgh. I forgot that you have to land gentler than a butterfly in a helicopter.

Yeah, my team got mad at me.

I found a perfect spot to just sit and rack up kills on ... uhhh ... The one with a monastery as the last area for the gold crates. On the first two crates, when you're a defender, sit right behind the gold crate, in between it and the wall. It's really hard to see you, and people will swarm through the area and into your gunfire. The only bad part is when the wall gets destroyed. Still a good spot, though.

I guess everyone's got bored of BF:BF and gone back to H3/COD4?

I had to give mine back to Blockbuster. >_>

I have to say though, I think I enjoyed Battlefield 2's multiplayer a little more. But then, that might just be nostalgia.

I went to this video game cafe and my brother was playing Bad Company on the PS3, and oh man, it looked kick [wagon], EA you never cease to amaze me.

When all they did was publish it.

EA, Dice, whatever whoever made it continues to amaze me

EA failed at hosting the servers when the game first came out.

EA's servers suck for all the multiplayer Battlefield games.

EA failed when the game came out by charging people money to buy the best guns.

They aren't even that good. Have you even played the game? The Gold edition guns suck.

You get them at rank 25 anyway. I've only used the VSS since I got 25, doubt i'll use any of the others.

What's bad about the paying is that EA does this with a lot of games and it's starting to get worse. Charging money for people to unlock end-game stuff is bad. I wouldn't be surprised if they just came out with a nuke that destroys the entire battlefield for $19.99. A good example is Prostreet. You could just buy the best cars instead of unlocking them by playing the game. This meant that the rich kids could buy the best cars and absolutely destroy the people online who didn't pay for their cars.

Considering the only new guns you can get are if you buy the Gold Edition, it's no different than limited edition games. They don't even make a difference, if you're even slightly skilled you can make it to rank 25 and get them for free #-o

Well, you can also get the guns individually off the XBL marketplace, but that's beside the point. My point is that charging people to unlock high-level equipment in any game is a bad policy. EA has been doing this for a very long time and it's starting to piss me off. They did this in Battlefield 2, 2142, Tiger Woods, Prostreet, etc etc.

It's EA, if there's a way to squeeze their customers for more money, you can be sure EA will do it.
