Anyone have any advice on how to fix that?

Might be a DNS problem, what are you trying to open?

Does it do the same thing in another browser?

I once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.
Pics or it didn't happen.

I havn't tried a different browser, but it's not the DNS, my Xbox LIVE is fine, and if the DNS was screwed I would've known about it by now.

I'm going to try Firefox tommorow and see how it fairs, I'm sure it's just IE though. ;\

Your best bet would be to get firefox.

IE fails.

People like you should stop trying to force firefox down everyone's throat.

Again, what is the website you are trying to open? Do all of the websites give you an error or some are working?

This crap is still happening, and I'd really like to use IE. I'm so used to the layout, looks really good compared to FireFox.

BUMP. :P

Open cmd(Command Prompt) and type ipconfig /flushdns

EDIT: i had a typo in the command sorry people.

I get the same problem. I just got firefox and it works fine there. But I hate the way firefox downloads things. Sometimes I just have to open IE to do downloads

use the ie7 skin for firefox \'

There are many IE themes for Firefox, including IE 6 and 7. Some only work with version 2, but if you have an account (why they make you do this I don't know :?) there are some available for 3. If that's not good enough, you can also download IE Tab to use the IE engine inside Firefox itself.

Even if you don't ever use the extra browser, it still would be a big help to see if the problem is only with IE or your entire internet.
