I think it's lovely Yaff , can't give you any C/c as I can't C/c sprites. I wish I could make backgrounds like yours :@.

Ps: You misspelled my name, it's a "s" not a "c".

Nice one yaff :) The things coming from the arms look cool, adds flow to the whole thing :)

Maybe make the bg more interesting with depth but on the other hand you can't do that very easily with sprites as they are small and you gotta keep the attention on the sprite. Hmm contradicted myself? #-o

well done

It looks pretty nice!

Just out of noob-ness, I haven't really tried sprites- what's the difference between sprites and a normal render?

Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can

Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude?

Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you?

Camera guy: still laughing

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]!

Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL!

Well here is my opinion (Yaff will probably give you a better explanation though) about sprites, It's a lot more focus on the sprite itself rather then the background when your making normal signature (Only what I think :P).

a sprite is a render from a game. rather than a render. Sprites focus more on the sprite, and flow, rather than depth, lighting, etc etc

I've never done sprites to be honest, but I'll try and comment with my minimal knowledge.

I like the way you done the background - did you do a cicular gradient? I looks like you've brushed it, which looks hawt <3: Could you tell me what brush it is?

As for the sprite, the things coming out of whatever Pokemons arm help add to the sig.

The text is well done, like how it has a sort of gradient within itself.

Cinematic border adds a good touch too.

Nothing really to improve on, excellent job

This is great! The whole simplicity thing is working, and it flows well, and keeps your attention. The colours used are really good! I haven't gotten round to using sprites yet, i might onday.

Keep up the good work, i'm loving it!

Nice work. Your style is awesome, and the sprite + background blend well. :D

well, i started off with a radial gradient yes. as for the background, its all smudged. i took renders, stocks, etc and used smudging techniques. scatter smudging, or just a round brush and smudged in my own way, then added a couple filters to give it a certain look

Not liking the dead center look or the negative space. :-#

Maybe not have soo much contrast between the focal and the rest of the background?

Dart.jpg

Really nice, I like the background and the way it flows. Though it does look like it could use a C4D or something added to it just to spice it up a little.

Yeah, C4Ds are all 3D and AA'd, while sprites are pixels... I don't know, I wouldn't be able to mix both.
