June 19, 200818 yr i have 5 mil at the moment i need to know what is faster: 99 fm or cooking. Im using all my money on it.
June 19, 200818 yr Well fm takes longer and is harder, but its generally more respected than cooking. Its entierly up to you.
June 19, 200818 yr Don't use all your money to get a 99. Making some money with the 5m you have already and then getting a 99 is much better. Cooking is a bit faster than firemaking, firemaking is about 135k xp/hour doing maples all the way, cooking is ~160k xp/hour doing lobsters to 81, swordies 81-94 with gauntlets and sharks 94-99 with gauntlets. Cooking, however, loses you a bit more. I estimate cooking being 5-6m for 99, firemaking 3-4m. If I may ask, why do you want to spend all your money on a not-so-helpful 99?
June 19, 200818 yr Yeah, either way, you won't be respected for having either cape :P. 99 Woodcutting Achieved on 17th December 2007Barrows Drops: 1 x Great Axe; 3 x Brassard; 1 x K Coif; 1x Dh Helm; 2 x Guthans Plate; 1 x Ahrim Hood; 1 x Ahrim Skirt; 2 x Flail; 1 x X-bow; 2 x Dharok Legs.
June 19, 200818 yr Forget the XP for cooking but firemaking is 150k XP per hour. Cooking is faster though and less boring due to cook x. Trust the Gene Genie!
June 19, 200818 yr Author i just like having a skillcape. so basicly 5 mil isnt enough for 99 cooking. the how do i make money with the 5 mil i have? skills: att: 70 str: 72 def: 66 magic: 59 prayer: 43 wc: 77 mining: 56 smithing: 52 crafting: 46 the rest is not importnant
June 19, 200818 yr Do fletching. Idk about with the prices now, but when yews were around 360 each I made 5m getting 99. And it's around 100-120k xp/hr fletching yews. Anyways, BBL OFF TO SLEEP WITH A RACCOON
June 19, 200818 yr i've calculated it and 5m is more than enough for 99 cooking...provided you sell back your cooked fish to other people...when i calculated using tunas you will get 100exp per tuna and the cost difference between cooked and raw is 40gp so that is 0.4gp per exp...assuming you have around 1M cooking exp already which is around lvl 70 i think you will only require 0.4 X 12100000 = 4.84M...that is using tunas though... maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
June 19, 200818 yr neither they are noob skills that get you nowhere get 94 cook for sharks and 80 or so fm for mith drags
June 19, 200818 yr That's rather shortsighted. A 99 is a 99. Maybe not respected, but there's still a lot good about it. When I go for 2,000 total I'm planning on getting a few nooby stats up that I dislike training. I'll get firemaking to 99, fishing to 90, 95 or so feltching... all stats that most people have, but they're still stats. edit: oh god feltching. best typo evar.
June 19, 200818 yr Author and what if my cooking is 47 and fm 48. wich one is best to train with 5 mil. btw: my fletching is 1. so any other idea's?
June 19, 200818 yr train your fletching  Volleyball... THE BEST SPORT EVER!!!visage drop:22/06/08signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you ifbarrows drops: none!dragon drops: skirt x3, med x1.
June 19, 200818 yr Yes, train your fletching. But, if I were you I would go for 99 thieving, plundering would make it go by very fast, and you wouldnt lose money.
