I'm 53 smithing. I need 69 to do Rockin' Out, which will be my last quest after Devious :. I need to know the fastest way to get there. I have about a mil to work with, but I can get more if need be. Go.

Fastest way is going to be to buy the bars and smith the highest plate body you can. This gives you the fastest smithing in the game. It also has a huge cash drain.

make gold bars with the special gloves

gold ores till you can smith mith bolts, with which can allmost break even.

With only 1 million to work with it will be tough.. You might get it using Mithril bolts.. But you really should smelt some steel, make a little money and xp, then use the money to spend on more expensive smithing..

go to the blast furnase, world 58 i think is the official world, and make steel plates until you could make mith bolts

Lol at everyone saying mith bolts.

 

They were 2,5-3 gp/xp before the quest, now they are 7 gp/xp.

 

I'm happy I got 73 a week before the quest :D .

 

 

 

I guess going to the blast furnace and making mith bolts still makes you break even though. I'd try that.

Actually plates are fastest. I believe if you make over 1.5m/hour it's efficient. Or something like that. Gold bars would be better for you.
