June 24, 200818 yr This is the bit I thought of when I first heard the news. It was added today too, so I guess others had my thoughts.
June 24, 200818 yr George Carlin: May 12, 1937 - June 22, 2008 You were so influential on my life, and you changed the way I viewed humor, and the human race. You opened doors for me and altered the way I percieve language, and there will never be another comedian who will ever have a larger impact on my life that you. I'll never forget going to your show on my birthday and laughing my [wagon] off. It was a birthday I'll cherish until the day I die. Thank you for all the memories, George. I'll continue to watch your shows, and listen to your CD's, and view life with a different perspective. I'll forever consider myself wiser, wittier, and as an overall better person. I thank you for touching my life in a manner I previously hadn't thought possible. Goodbye, George. You will be missed, and never forgotten.

Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.
