skulloriginal
that sucks and on the topic of celebrity death glen mcgraths wife died yesterday beat cancer twice :? warri0r45
Damn, that's really sad. :( He was without a doubt one of my favourite comedians. He was one of the best there ever was and he will be missed.

magekillr
He and Bill Clinton were my heroes. George, I always wanted to see you live and I was never given the opportunity. I even said "Man I gotta see him before he dies...", and I never did :(. By far the best comedian who ever lived, who had no fear of prosecution from the FCC, who told it like it was, and who was always pissed off at Airport Security. I'll miss you sir, and thanks to you I always have a funny video or bit to play in response to anyone's comments anywhere. Well, I guess you'll know if there is a God now buddy ;)
bloodyhatchetbear
I was woken up by this news this morning. My mother yelled it across the house. George Carlin was a legend. If it wasn't for him, alot of the stuff that's said on TV would not be allowed at all. His "Seven Words" got a Supreme Court case going. He will certainly be missed. He will forever be a Legend in my eyes. NorthernHero
Thats too bad.. Very good comedian and intellingent man. Been watching him on youtube now, and someone seems to post almost every video "rest in piss racist ahole." Thats just too funny to me, I can't help but to lol. Rest in piss.. lol  get it? rest in piss... Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.
anonymous1234
^^ I don't find that funny Rest in peace George Carlin, and while I never really got to see a lot of his material, I am proud of what he fought for and how mean the F.C.C is
magekillr
Why is everyone saying "Rest in Peace"? He would hate that [cabbage]. He's dead and gone. Miss him, remember him, but don't tell him to rest in peace or say that he's in a better place. Give the man the respect he would have wanted lol. Furthermore, we shouldn't bury him either. Remember, cemeteries and golf courses waste so much land in America ^_^
warri0r45
Sad stuff indeed. He seemed like he was ready to die though. Yeah, I'd seen more recent videos on Youtube where he wasn't his usual full-on, no holds barred self. Having said that, apparantly he did a show just a week ago. George Carlin was a legend. If it wasn't for him, alot of the stuff that's said on TV would not be allowed at all. His "Seven Words" got a Supreme Court case going. Absolutely. He was such an artifice of social change and challenging the status quo. That's what drew me in to his comedy.
Giordano
Good ole George, always pokin' where he shouldn't of had. The thing that made that man great. :D Rest in Peace, George. mrpez
rest in peace george carlin. he was one funny guy. i loved his bits on god and funny names. "if you dont believe in him you will burn and suffer in a pit of fire for all eternity! ...but he loves you!" "what the hell is with names like Kyle, Todd, and Tucker? What happened to good 'ole names like Nicky, Vinny, and Tony? The name makes the person! I bet you any day that Nicky, Vinny, and Tony can beat the crap out of Todd, Tucker, and Kyle." Range_This11
I'm sure that The Legend would laugh at everyone who is mourning his death right now. You know what you should do? Watch all his old stuff, remember him for how much he contributed to this world and how he changed so many lives for the BETTER. If there was anyone who would crack a joke at his own death, it would have been George Carlin. Buck up everyone, and reminisce all the great things that he did for show business, the world, and you. George Carlin, you will be sorely missed, but always remembered : "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
