June 25, 200818 yr whats the point of junk... junk is faster to get in the game, its why no one buys it. Many, if not all of us, accumulate junk, we just don't pick them up :D Here, i don't know any fast ways to get junk, you could try fletching or woodcutting willows, either one works.
June 26, 200818 yr whats the point of junk... Junk is a way of getting around the GE's flawed pricing system. So, in this instance, people are willing to buy these leaf-bladed swords for far more than the GE allows them to. The seller puts the sword, and some 'junk' in the trade window, inflating the price, and then the buyer matches this artificially inflated price, getting the sword, and some useless, worthless 'junk' in return. So, in reality, the buyer bought the sword for 1m or something. While he also got 'junk', nobody buys this, so it's pretty much worthless. Anyways, fletching is always a good way to get some extra levels and junk as well.

June 26, 200818 yr Maple logs + knife -> maple long bow (u) 100 gp profit. They sell for 3 times what a maple log is, so free fletching xp too, don't bother stringing. I have accumulated so much Rune Jave, Rune Darts and Rune Dart (P) that I can pretty much junk trade for just about anything. Thats another way if you prefer killing things over making junk. The time you spend making it could be spent doing something you enjoy and probably making you even more cash. Obviously if you have the need to gain XP in a skill which results in junk then knock yourself out. Just sell the sword for it's price plus 200k junk. You're still going to make some cash. Oh and it's not junk if it has a use :D Trust the Gene Genie!
