They say "observant players" as if people have just, (Shock horror! :o ) noticed that the two halves make a kite not a square, but people have known this for years. The fact that they are only just rectifying it is suspicious, and with the D full helm realeased recently(ish), maybe D kiteshield will be the next thing to go. It's also strange that they released the mock Dragon Kites sold by Diango recently too. R3active Posted June 28, 2008 Share Posted June 28, 2008 I doubt a kiteshield will be released because of the DFS, there is frankly no need for one and the DFS wasnt released all that long ago. They may have just changed the shape so that if for example the inventory pictures are going to be dramtically updated by the update next month that they decided to change the shape after years of people complaining. Cha0sx Posted June 28, 2008 Share Posted June 28, 2008 I think the dragon kiteshield can be released and it can be a less exclusive piece of equipment than say, 3rd age kiteshield or Dragonfire Shield, with worse stats but a good amount better than the dragon square. There was also a Chaos Elemental anagram that was deciphered to saying: Legends must rise again. This could possibly lead to a legends quest sequel and the release of the dragon kiteshield through some method. Maybe it'll be the same as the Dragon sq, with one part available in the legend's guild, and the other available through monster drops.
