Dr_Locust
What's more expensive to train, summoning or construction? Planks vs. Shards hmm.... I know it depends how you train either skill, but generally speaking, what's more of a pain in the wallet? Good points you guys made: -Summoning you can exchange pouches for 70% shards through Bogrog (ogre in Gu'Tanoth) if you have a high enough Summoning level -There's basically no way to make money while gaining construction xp (that I'm aware of), most people make flatpacks, which they have to drop. It would be handy if you could exchange flatpacks for some decent cash... Nopnoob
I'd say summoning. Bursting + secondarys + shards. Dutchy
Vulxai
I'd say summoning, but I'd rather have summoning than construction. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
blazerethief
construction all the way, why?well because in summoning you can trade your pouches for 70% of your charms, also unles you are like power lvling or at least trying to......summoning bursting?hmm....not good
D Jay99
Training construction is not that expensive, it was 3m 61-70 with larders. The house itself, however, is also expensive. Depending on what you want to spend on it, it will cost anywhere from 2-15m, or even more if you really want to max it out. I think summoning is slightly more expensive, and harder to train too. Vincent
with construction all you need is a good way to make money in between the times you train it. with summoning you can actually make money training it. by collecting the monster drops, besides charms, you will actually make money with summoning by training combat for charms. training construction is all about spending money. with summoning, the drops you get will more than pay for the shards; so basically it's a huge reward for those that train combat. i recommend you collect your own 2nds when reasonable and either train slayer or train at your favourite training spot for charms. use the spirit kyatt at lvl 57 summoning and use the tipit calculator to map your progress. wioneo
I would definately say that construction is more expensive, and not everyone bursts lobs for charms, by the way. I personally preffer killing waterfiends because you actually profit off their stackable drops(and that's not even considering the orbs which I keep for hydras). RyderJ
Summoning. As it uses up a lot of time charm hunting, too, and time = money.
zaybex
Every time I go to train Summoning, I'm taking 50k with me to Pikkupstix... it's only 7k for a full load of oak planks (14k full teak), and you can chop them right there by the sawmill. 70% of 50k is 35k, thus 15k is non-reobtainable. Also, I do not charm hunt; I simply train Slayer. First skill to 70...
