Because prices change and someone could've been buying mid price yellow phat for 2 months and you wouldn't have sold it to him because the price droped 1gp or more. When the GE updates for valuable items, it never only changes by 1 or 2 coins. Also, it's fairly widely known whenever a party hat price changes. I guess you could try building up some rubbish and go with a junk trade...or maybe dump it off on Toast... If you can sell your phat you just got lucky. It's the same with willows. Some people sell them instantly others have to wait weeks for it. [404] Signature not found.
