Range_This11
I think that tennis may be the most mentally demanding sport there is (high on the list with Golf), and it is one of the most physically challenging too. It isn't physically challenging in the sense that your body is constantly being banged around like in a contact sport, but the agility, endurance, and stamina it takes to play tennis is astounding. Trust me, I play. If you only could participate at a higher level of tennis at say, your local club or your high school, and you competed, only then would you be able to understand why tennis is an amazing sport to play AND to watch. Before I played in high school I never really liked watching tennis on tv, but now that I'm competitive and serious about it, I absolutely love watching it on tv. nine naked men
w/e this is worse than the time i tried to convince monkeys that they can't go into space lol You talk to monkeys? :? Duh, they're his closest relatives. They've gotta keep in touch. As for the match, I usually don't watch tennis, but I had nothing else to do and some time to kill and it turned out to be pretty cool to watch. They're both very talented players. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
monkeyboo2
I wanted Federer to win, can't stand Nadal. Now there both even, Federer beat his streak on clay, now Nadal beat his on grass. What? Federer didn't beat Nadal on clay; he's completely undefeated at the French Open. Nadal completely outplayed Federer in all aspects today except for first serve. It just took him a few tries to get the monkey off his back with all those Championship points. I wouldn't say he out played Federer, if so Nadal would have won it in three sets with ease. Really wanted Federer to win, can't stand Nadal in his sleeveless shirts, he looks so stupid. Your just jeaous of the muscle :P. He looks kinda cool tbh... and lets face it- Federers nose...... Anyway. I was fairly neutral on who to win. But I Federer did come so close to winning after a dissapointing start :). Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.Sounds like Jagex to me...
Alex_Ewan_1
Unfortunately the better player one. Nadal, please buy a less see-through top, maybe with sleeves. Hate how he shows off his muscles so much. He is young he will get number 1 one day whenfederer is past his prime. Nadal has more powerful shots and can now match Federer in most categories now, apart form serve. Excuse me, squash is way more demanding. At match is like 20 minutes. You are so exhausted after you can ahrdly stand up usually. Tennnis match is usally 2/3 hours. Squash match about 20-45 minutes. This is becuase squash is far more demanding, could not play fro 2 hours or even close to that. Tennis stars never look tired after a match, looks like a sunday stroll in the park walking the dog for them. assassin_696
One of the best games i've ever seen, and I only got to watch the last couple of sets. When Federer got the fourth set I genuinely thought he might just have the mental stamina to win it, but Nadal worked so hard to keep him back. To be honest, neither player dominated, it was very close right up until when Nadal broke Federer's serve. Amazing game, amazing players. Tennis stars never look tired after a match, looks like a sunday stroll in the park walking the dog for them. Seriously this is one of the stupidest posts ive ever seen! Squash matches are a longer than 20 minutes, and if you are so exhausted that you can't stand up after that amount of time maybe work on your fitness. A 20 minute squash match is more demanding than a 3 hour tennis match? Did you even read your post because this is utter crap. A squash match is only 40 - 1 hour long because it is boring, watching two men hit a ball against a wall isn't fun. There is no way that a squash match is more demanding, a sqaush court is about half the width of a tennis court During a squash match i doubt that the players even do half the amount of running and physical exetion that tennis players do as tennis players spend most of the match running up and down the court, while squash is just standing in one place, and the odd jog to get to the ball. And i think most people who have some degree of physical fitness could easily play squash for 2 hours. And you say tennis players never look tired after a match, maybe thats because its their muscles that have been doing all the work not their faces? Range_This11
I like Nadal a lot better than Federer. Nadal has a forehand that he can hit on the run and off balance, AND still hit a winner. Federer has a great forehand, but he has to set it up and it has to be a short ball and he has to be hitting an approach shot all at the same time for it to be a winner in most cases. Nadal puts a lot of top spin on his forehand without sacrificing speed.
