July 17, 200817 yr eh i was disappointed at sqeenix for this decision it was a good business decision because they'd sell millions more but still, it feels like sony got betrayed :-# where's the loyalty it's not like dmc or gta because since 7, the main stream games of final fantasy were always released by ps1/2 what's the point in having either a 360 or ps3 if all the major games are for both Of course none of the Sony fanboys cared when the franchise got stolen from Nintendo. :roll: Just saying, it's not always been a sony thing. Yeah and it came to Sony because it was there way of reaching the american market better.When it took them 2 years to release final fantasy 5 and final fantasy 6 actually came out before 5 so they have to switch the numbers, thats a sign to Squenix that action should be taken. And dont forget final fantasy on a global scale is much more mainstream and big than GTA and DMC, Final fantasy holds a lot of sway in the east which is why a lot of JRPG's imitate them.

You must be new the the whole Final Fantasy scene. Final Fantasy STARTED on the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). Although technically it was the 'famicon' in Japan. Final Fantasy I-VI, over half of the main games were created for the NES and SNES originally, with ports to the PS1 and hand holds. If anything, we need to be seeing more FF games on the wii... What should be happening is as many games should be coming out for all consoles, but with different aspect for each. For example: PS3 get's increased graphics and maybe something else taking advantage of its system, XBox gets it's live feature and something else, and Wii gets its innovative control feature plus maybe something else. Although I don't think it'd be worth it for Square, from a buisness perspective, to release on the Wii. IMO it would take too much to have to tone it down to the Wii's level.

Towards the end of the podcast, Shane states that he has been speaking to representatives from Square Enix, who have told him that "Final Fantasy XIII on 360 announcement swung the ball towards Microsoft. At Square Enix's Japan event in 2 weeks, they will swing the ball back towards Sony". How many projects do they have going on atm? What?

July 20, 200817 yr two other are DQ and star ocean i think both with games coming up they have a bit more, infinite undiscovery, last remnant, final fantasy dissidia for psp, another crystal chronicles for wii, a new mmo called rapture, final fantasy AC complete on blu ray, and a few ds titles no wonder they take so long in releasing games. they debuted 13 2 years ago at e3 :-# What?
