July 16, 200817 yr I am a recently registered member, and I was wondering which item I should go for. Retain my Rune Scimi - or go for a halberd. Any ideas? What's your personal preference?
July 16, 200817 yr Depends what level. When I was a member, I really liked the dragon hally, but I also really liked the dragon skimmy.. so its up to you.

Painless, no. Stay off of that island and keep your soul pure, just my opinion. Back on topic, I have very limited experience with granite mauls(only ever used them on gargoyles) but they seem to be pretty good weapons. I'm not sure about the requirements, though. A brine sabre is a weapon dropped by Brine Rats. Last time I checked, brine sabres were 16k. Lvl 40 attack is needed to weild it. The special attack only works underwater. July 16, 200817 yr Stick with your Rune Scimitar until you decide to get a Dragon item. Getting the Halberd or the Granite Maul is not worth it, they are both expensive wastes. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
July 16, 200817 yr Keep your rune scimitar until you can get a dragon longsword or dragon scimitar. The rune halberd has a pretty narrow usefulness, it would only be useful if you wanted to fight monsters slightly above your level that were possible to safespot, but it would have to be for slayer or something because it would be very bad melee XP. A granite maul is also a weapon that is impractical for training as it is much slower than a rune scimitar so it would also offer bad XP/hour.
