blacksurge
About how many chins would I need for 90 range? Would red or grey be better? Right now I have 87 range and about 4m xp, and 90 is at 5.3m if that helps. Also for getting def from 80-85, should I do slayer (going to be getting noob tasks since I only have like 3 points and no slayer helm :\) or green drags for cash? I can get decent xp/hr at green drags Anyways, BBL OFF TO SLEEP WITH A RACCOON

blacksurge
Ugh it already took a while getting it up from 75, cause I was told i'd need 80 :x Anyways, BBL OFF TO SLEEP WITH A RACCOON
Andrew_s_2
80 defence is pretty low, you'll take damage to often. 99 attack-34,104th to 99 attack.
asianboy7o7
getting 90 range also helps more than
blacksurge
Would the range and defence really make that much of a difference? I really only want to go for a couple trips to see what it's like and maybe get a drop. And could you reccomend any setups? Yes, the range and defence levels make a huge difference as to how long you stay, and how many kills you get. As for setups look at the guide in the AOW

craven_range
6340 Red Chins 122 Ppots (4) Or 7428 Gray Chins 143 Ppots (4) That's using eagle eye + void (black hide ~ void at skeles)
pinpongiter
I have almost 87 range as well but to level up using red chins it will take you a lot of money. Yesterday to level up just one level I had to get over 2500 red chins (using eagle eye and ranging potions)...which including the prayer pots is crazy...besides that seems that Ape Atoll is quite full now with either rangers levelling up or magers. pinpongiter
I found better to chin at mummies nowadays even if you dont take much XP as ape atoll but at least you dont need food and antipoison....seems at ape atoll falling rocks are more frequent now. Besides that at mummies you get runes and charms which will help me level up my summoning as well.

blacksurge
Well it looks like it'll be around 1m cheaper if I use grey chins, so red chins aren't looking too great right now :x Also I heard Muggi's chinning guide got lost in the rollback, and apparently there's a technique you have to use? I thought you just ran in, hid under the rock and started chinning away :\ Anyways, BBL OFF TO SLEEP WITH A RACCOON

I can be completely wrong though.
