Maybe smithing full steel sets or platebodies? Oh and btw, how available are the full zamorak sets at the grand ex?
July 20, 200818 yr Smithing steel sets won't make you any money at all. Mining gold is pretty good cash, I'd stick with it if you aren't sick of it. July 20, 200818 yr Author You're right. I had 0.5 mil and I mined 1000 gold to get to level 60 mining and get some money while I was at it. That took me about 2 days but it was the most dull and repetetive thing I've ever done. And I'd have to do that about 3 times more if I want to get another 1.6 mil.

July 22, 200818 yr because they are faster? I'm not sure, though. Smelting steel bars is profitable if you buy the ingredients, but it is slow gp and xp. Mine the iron and increase the profit by 100 gp/bar! Especially when you can one-hit iron. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...

Why waste time on less profitable ores? Just because an item you can mine SELLS for more doesn't mean you'll always make more money mining it. For that to be true, all ores would have to mine at the same rate. Example:magic logs sell for more money, but at my level I would get better experience and money by cutting yews. Also, if anyone knows what level it takes to one hit mine gold, I'd also be interested in that. Need assistance in any of these skills? PM me in game, my private chat is always ON

Iron ore = 97 Coal = 193 Steel bar = 650 97 + 193 + 193 = 483 650 - 483 = 167 profit per bar I think gold ores would probably get me money faster... smelting them takes pretty long and I have about 500 profit per gold ore. Does anyone know if it's easy to obtain full zamorak from the grand ex?
