boelie
I need 1.6 mil for full zamorak. I'm f2p. Here are my stats: Attack: 40 Strength: 40 Defence: 40 Hitpoints: 40 Ranging: 3 Magic: 11 Runecrafting: 5 Crafting: 40 Mining: 61 Smithing: 50 Fishing: 41 Cooking: 44 Firemaking: 20 Woodcutting: 16 I've been mining gold in the crafting guild, but maybe there's a better way? Maybe smithing full steel sets or platebodies? Oh and btw, how available are the full zamorak sets at the grand ex?
green9090
Smithing steel sets won't make you any money at all. Mining gold is pretty good cash, I'd stick with it if you aren't sick of it. You could also try mining pure essence if you want to mix it up a bit. boelie
You're right. I had 0.5 mil and I mined 1000 gold to get to level 60 mining and get some money while I was at it. That took me about 2 days but it was the most dull and repetetive thing I've ever done. And I'd have to do that about 3 times more if I want to get another 1.6 mil. ilovecardj
With those stats all you can mainly do for cash is either mine gold, or smelt steel/mithril bars. mitochondrion
With your stats, either get in the mining guild and mine a boatload of coal and iron and sell steel bars, buy coal and iron and make steel bars or keep on the ol' gold.
Ouchy
If I were you, I would continue mining Gold Ore. There is not much else you can do to make yourself profit. You could try some basic/entry level merchanting, but I cannot help you there. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages. boelie
If I buy coal and Iron and make steel bars, will I make a profit? That sounds interesting to me.
jakelegend0
If I buy coal and Iron and make steel bars, will I make a profit? That sounds interesting to me. I am pretty sure you would. Just use the formula 2 coal + 1 iron and if that is < than the steel bars cost which I think it is. You will make profit. Too lazy to have a cool sig. So I therefore spam you with boring stat sigs
Ouchy
If I buy coal and Iron and make steel bars, will I make a profit? That sounds interesting to me. Yes, you do. However it is incredibly slow and you only make 9 Bars Per Inventory. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages. boelie
Yeah smelting the bars is the worst part in the whole mining coal and iron -> smelting the bars -> smithing the bars deal. I guess I'll just stick to gold and maybe selling some lobsters or something when it gets too boring.

Why waste time on less profitable ores? My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages. transcript80
because they are faster? I'm not sure, though. Smelting steel bars is profitable if you buy the ingredients, but it is slow gp and xp. Mine the iron and increase the profit by 100 gp/bar! Especially when you can one-hit iron. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... Why waste time on less profitable ores? Just because an item you can mine SELLS for more doesn't mean you'll always make more money mining it. For that to be true, all ores would have to mine at the same rate. Example:magic logs sell for more money, but at my level I would get better experience and money by cutting yews. Also, if anyone knows what level it takes to one hit mine gold, I'd also be interested in that. Need assistance in any of these skills? WildxYak
Just went through quick so might have missed it but buy coal and iron ore, smelt into steel bars and sell them. Iron ore = 97 Coal = 193 Steel bar = 650 97 + 193 + 193 = 483 650 - 483 = 167 profit per bar 99: Agility 28/12/14|Thieving 20/03/

Does anyone know if it's easy to obtain full zamorak from the grand ex?
