Mine is 13 I'm at Karamja ranging lessers... if I don't kill him in time people run underneath my foe and steel my arrows. Why! Have some decency and let me finish off the monster and get my arrows that I earned you PIG! Otherwise i have to run out to grab my arrows, get hit, and go back.. and guess what!, by then they stole my lesser! BASTARD! 100% P2P

Anything over was a waste of time and anything under didn't pay as much. July 25, 200817 yr I get around 10-14. Not too many, not to less. Decent amount of runes/racks. [saradomin hilt - 3] [Armadyl hilt - 1] [ Bandos hilt - 3][ Abyssal whip - 88] [ Dark bow - 7] [ Dragon boots - 100+]

July 25, 200817 yr Leesters did a big thing on Barrows kc if I remember correctly, the results he got said that a kc of just over 20 was good because it increased a chance of a drop.
July 25, 200817 yr I remember seeing a drop log with 3 different people who used 12.. And had incredible luck. I have been using the 12 KC method for when I barrow.. I have 25 Barrows drops, and don't even barrow often. Seems to work for me. ~Zackdt
July 25, 200817 yr I use twelve, and even though I don't have amazing luck, occasionally I have luck streak. Seriously, in my drop log, you'll see a dry streak of not too many, maybe 15, then in the next 6 runs, you'll see three drops, each separated by one run. Quite fun. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Jagex confirms that the kill count plays a factor in getting better runes from the chest. Personally, I prefer a 20-30 kill count. I get better runes, and more Barrow Items, even though the difference is barely noticeable. If you look into the subject 12 does pop up a lot :? .
