Mine is 13 I'm at Karamja ranging lessers... if I don't kill him in time people run underneath my foe and steel my arrows. Why! Have some decency and let me finish off the monster and get my arrows that I earned you PIG! Anything over was a waste of time and anything under didn't pay as much. Seriously, in my drop log, you'll see a dry streak of not too many, maybe 15, then in the next 6 runs, you'll see three drops, each separated by one run. Jagex confirms that the kill count plays a factor in getting better runes from the chest. Personally, I prefer a 20-30 kill count. I get better runes, and more Barrow Items, even though the difference is barely noticeable. If you look into the subject 12 does pop up a lot :? .
