Kingdom Hearts Yakuza Marvel Ultimate Alliance MGS3 Onimusha Bully SOCOM 1 Anybody know of any great games other than GTA and God of War for the PS2? Also has anyone else played Yakuza...because I think it is one of the best games I have played in a long time...though I have not started Kingdom hearts, MGS3, SOCOM< or Onimusha... VjuliusT Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Kingdom hearts 2 was good but it's a bit more hack & slashish compared to the first one but it's really worth playing, I suggest completing number 1 first though. If you have a brother/sister/friend/dad/mum to play with I suggest a couple of easy fighting games like : Soul calibur 2 Onimusha blade warriors If you don't like to play with other people a lot I suggest a couple of games from my brother game list: Devil may cry 1-3 (You might want to skip the second one) Shooter: Star wars battle front 1-2, one of the best star wars based shooters I've ever played, can both be played alone or with friends/relatives. Call of duty & medal of honor series are also pretty good. RPG: I've played a few, Liked final fantasy and dark cloud, here is something else. Dark cloud 2/ Dark chronicle (Dark cloud wasn't released in Europe if I'm not wrong) IT's totally different compared to Dark cloud but yet a amazing RPG that will steal a lot of hours. Kiriyama Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Well, going through mine, here's a few reccomendations: Final Fantasy X. If you are going to get any Final Fantasy, get this. Kingdom Hearts 2. Easier than the first. If you go through it at your own pace, it should take around 23 Hours to complete all worlds (not chests) and beat Sephy, I was level 66 at this point. Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call. If you like a bit of a challenge, I reccomend this. Paying for healing makes it harder as they are often far from another and there is few, unless you get alot of healing items. Final Fantasy X-2. Not may people like this. However, I reccomend getting it after finishing X, just to tie up the loose ends. (Good or Perfect ending) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. Now I like this. Though I've ended up play THUG (1 and 2) more, this is still a good game to pick up. (If you're into this type, however I don't reccomend any after THUG 2.) Guitar Hero. All of them really (despite me only playing Rocks the 80s and III) These are some good games. Make sure that you only get 2 controllers at the most. Need For Speed Underground 1 and 2, Most Wanted, Carbon and Pro Street. Though I don't play Pro Street as much as the others (got my Ps3 soon after buying that) I reccomend this series of games. Tekken 4. Its Tekken, what more must I say? Rachet: Gladiator (thats what its called here, I think its Dreadlocked in some places.). Good game to get. Pretty easy to pick up and play, and a little easier compared to the others. Dynasty Warriors 4. I spent hours playing this (eventually got bored due to doing just about everything). Devil Kings. Pretty much like Dynasty Warriors series. Still worth getting IMO. I'd say get one of the Call of Duty games aswell, though its really up to you which one.
