Runescape is almost complete

Featured Replies

Once the farming, POH's, clans and carpentry are in, Runescape is finished.

Those are the last big things that jagex promised promised long ago, and they will be finished pretty, before the end of this year.

After that there's nothing more to add to the game except some extra quests and world parts.

Jagex once put something on their company site about some other big game they would be making targeted to the chinese. Since RS is done, they'll start spending their time on that, and all we RSers will only get a few additions like small quests, and it won't be weekly anymore.

Jagex will keep RS running all the time but it won't be their main focus anymore.

Discuss.

Runescape: Lodev (Combat level been fixed at 101 for years now, Total level 1500+, playing since march 2002)

Arenascape: Lode (Level 240+ Warlock)

RuneScape won't complete. Look at the maps, people begging, quests and more.

I'm not believing any of this. If RuneScape would be complete, the interests would fall down above 50%, and Jagex would lose money. And not only that, they would also not be able to have new adventurer because nothing new will ever happens. So it would never be complete.

Jagex never promised the slayer skill long ago, and we got it.

My prediction, they'll come up with more ideas and make them.

It's as feasible as yout theory, maybe more.

Even if this would make rs "complete" none of these updates besides farming are really gonna come out for a while.

123 Combat / 1900 Skill Total / 99 HP / 7x 99 Stats

heh.....by the time im 60, runescape will still be criticized

Complete? Nope, not gonna happen; RS is too open-ended to ever be complete. It's like RL; there's always progress being made somewhere. The only time RS will be considered "complete" is when they finally shut it down. Which hopefully won't be for many years.

Irony: An amnesiac rediscovering they have an eidetic memory.

if they keep updating rs, when new people join it will be like the navigating diablo2 skill tree which im sure no one wants to see that happen...except blizzard that is :P .

i think farming might ruin the game for some people though. because if you can farm cabbage, well, there goes the OoC... (or maybe they can just find a way of monopolising the flow of cabbage seeds, which looks doubtful)

no no no no no no.. erm.. no..

a game like this is never compleate.. and they still have 100s of things they have said they are thinking about doing that they probley havnt even looked at, and im sure are comming up with more week by week

I recently took a few months away from rs,, came back, and everything has changed, hopefully, if i take some time of in the future the same thing will happen. If not.. like its been said.. rs will fail.
