Nadril, what's the fastest way to level up? I'm a level 5 black orc, but even now leveling seems to take forever.

 

 

 

Honestly? Just play the game. PvP, PvE, quest, PQ's. Do what you want. Everything gives you XP so don't worry about it.

Haven't played this for a few days actually. Leveling is meh. I want it to be faster. Should try get back into it cause I would love to see some of the end-game pvp, pve and Marauder skills. Hmm...

What? Leveling is so fast. It's been like 2 weeks and I'm 30 out of 40. I could have been higher by now too.

 

 

 

 

 

Than again I'm sure most people "think" it is slow because there is only 40 levels, not 70 or 80.

True true. Would like the quest exp to scale better though. Will have to get on and do abit of PQ's and stuff later.

Short but some pretty good stuff. TAB target improvements, UI improvements and "out of range" fix.

* A feature has been added to User Settings which allows players to auto loot corpses by default. Players can enable this feature by selecting the always auto loot option, under the game play section. Please note that holding shift while looting with the option enabled will cause you to loot normally. When the option is disabled, shift-loot will still auto loot all.

* When creating a new tab, the properties of the new tab are cloned from the original tab chosen. For example, using New Tab on the Combat tab menu creates a Combat(1) tab with all the same filters and font settings of the original Combat tab.

 

 

 

* Players will no longer be able to use the /petname command unless they have a White Lion out.

 

 

 

* New Cycle Enemy Target action added as a handier version of Target Next Enemy. This action is bound to Tab by default; existing characters will not have their keybindings changed, so if you would like to use this action instead of Target Next Enemy with your current character, you will need to change this keybind.

Sounds like a decent update though I don't play. So I don't know the needs/wants currently, but from an outside view, it looks like a promising way to update a game in the first weeks of launch.

 

 

 

Yeah, it's addressing two of my main issues -- TAB targeting and the "out of range" error. And hopefully their performance improvements will help too, even though I'm running pretty decent already.

Today was pretty good.

 

 

 

 

 

First I joined a warband of 20 people for T4, and participated in the first fortress siege on our server. Sadly we are out numbered when it comes to high level destruction vs order and got pushed back.

 

 

 

Then later on we did the dungeon "Bastion Stair". Didn't get too far into it, but it's such an epic dungeon. I got to tank it, and I think it was one of the first times (if not the first, at least for destruction) that it had been attempted. Either way the bosses are just nuts, and I look forward to trying to complete it.

 

 

 

 

 

Now we're just kind of chilling in a small group going around doing PQ's. It's a lot of fun.

 

 

 

 

 

Also I love it, most of the destruction players in T4 know each other -- and know the enemy T4 order. There is such a sense of community in the game, it's awesome. It feels good to be a part of something big too, instead of just being the no-name guy in the back. I'm one of the highest black orc's on the server (highest atm is... 36 or 37. I'm level 33 nearing 34) and it's just a lot of fun.

wednesday is when my freind gets it and i think we will be all set by friday so that is when i have a second stab at WAR.

 

 

 

And messing around with a few other detsruction characters, Green skins and orcs got the best deals in terms of starting up.I actually laughed at some dialogue

The social side of the game needs improving, they need to create more specific channels for zones rather a "OMG I SPILLED MY CHOKLATE MILK" craptalk faction channel.

 

I also had a weird graphical bug where when you logged in you would leave a version of youre character in each frame of animation and you would just crash the game with 20 people running around creating 800 dupes of there character :P

Improved chat for each zone would be nice. Either way I've found this game way more social than WoW, where for the most part the only people you interacted with was your guild at max level. Meanwhile I've been doing all sort of objectives with people from all kind of different guilds, something that would never happen in WoW.

meh, on the servers I've played on, at least at low levels, theres not been much interaction, aside from on release day. That was chaotic as hell though. People running about like headless chickens, "OMGWTF IS A PQ?!?!?!"

Given if no one wants to interact, they won't. That being said I've had more interaction in this game than WoW so far.

I got this game a couple of days ago and im enjoying it so far :P

 

And yes i have seen more interaction in this game than WoW aswell, i also find it a lot more fun especially the PQs. At the moment I'm only a Level 5 Black Orc because i decided to start again on a different server ::'
