Even fully degraded a black d'hide coif gives a higher bonus than a god coif. I'm fairly certain that they last for 5 hours of combat. You should probably look them up in the item DB.. they give 1 less range bonus than a robin. 1 more than archer helm i think.

Not to mention the price difference. so this means uhh.. oh yes, it means that god coifs are gonna be better....
