How do you put runescsape on your desktop?

Featured Replies

How do you put Runescape on your desktop? It's like the RS client just that I'm going to use firefox.

First of all, have you set Firefox as you standard web browser? And are you making a shortcut for a world or the official shortcut that Jagex offer?

I have set Firefox as my main browser and i want a shortcut exactly like the RUNESCAPE client

Low detail

world#.runescape.com/p0

High Detail

world#.runescape.com/p0,g1

Replace # with the world number.

Or.. just put a shortcut to http://www.runescape.com

No i just want it to be like the Runescape client, no toolbars, no anything..

If you don't want toolbars or anything, then just use the Runescape client available at runescape.com .

You can always just press F11 on your keyboard, which will make it full screen and removes the browser bar.

Not every can finance members, due to parents and other reasons. Some people just like F2P anyway, like myself, so that should not really be an answer.

Ok i want a RS client USING FIREFOX, NOT IE!

D Jay ill try using this for now, but i really need the solution

Maybe you don't understand, THE runescape client downloaded from the runescape website, does not really on an internet browser to work, it's got that built into it, so it doesn't matter if you have Firefox or IE.

Hope that clears things up.

Maybe i could use a firefox function to do like the RS client? Just using firefox

Seriously, why do you want to use Firefox. It's not that good.

Use the method I posted, or use the client. The client works fine, really, even though it doesn't use Firefox.

It requires IE 6 or above... and I think if it requires IE it will use it, too. But that's just a theory...

You know the gadget bar on Windows Vista?

If you were to create a gadget that opened programs, it could easily open Runescape on a firefox browser.
