strong enough for avansies??

I want to kill avansies, supposedly you make good profits every run, but i don't know if i'm strong enough to do it also, do i need a party? I currently have 72 range will be 73 in the next few days and 42 defence and 32 prayer is there anything i should get up before going or what to buy for equipment or something better to kill? also im 64 combat?

You'll need either 70 defence or higher prayer, 60+ would do.

 

I recommend getting 70 defence, camping there for a while, then buying 70 prayer.

You don't need a saradomin item except for when you are entering the dungeon, unless you decide to kill them outside the Eeyrie, but the low levelled ones are usually grouped closer together inside.

The profits from the 2 methods simply depends on the player's defense and prayer levels.

 

 

 

I earn more from tanking method, because I have a very high defense...while someone else with lower defense may earn more with praying.

Even if you had the [cabbage]tiest defence, someone could stay longer if they tanked, you could bring 1k BTP tabs for the hell of it, but the maximum amount of pray pots you SHOULD bring is 22, and that you CAN is only 28, excluding what you need.

Your defence is far too low. You need 70 at least, or you could do the prayer method, where you would need about 60 prayer for it to be efficient. But with your current stats you will get nowhere.

 

Try:

 

80 Range

 

70 Defence

 

(Bones -> Peaches spell is quite useful here aswell).

 

Or try:

 

80 Range

 

60 Prayer

 

Use prayer potions, you'll probably get all the money back from drops.

 

 

 

I'd recommend that you get defence, because with the defence method you can stay longer, and you will not have to pay for prayer potions, meaning more profit. You'll need to use broad bolts and Rune Crossbow, these are quite effective.
