Russia+S Ossetia+Abkhasia in a war against Georgia

Featured Replies

And what would be so terrible about Russia becoming a superpower again anyway? I don't think it has that "There can only be One" ideal.

We don't need two countries with big egos tbh. United States alone is enough.

Well I open up my paper today to see the front page story of the World section being "US sends aircraft and naval vessels to Georgia for humanitarian aid".

I assume humanitarian aid means "to blow the [cabbage] out of the Russians if they come any closer".

I'm hoping this doesn't escalate any further. Way I see it there are a few possibilities:

Russia concedes to Western pressure (unlikely)

Georgia becomes another in a long list of proxy wars between the US and Russia.

It escalates even further and we're plunged into a renewed Cold War.

WW3.

Obviously I'm glancing over a bunch, but they're all pretty much just minor changes from those four.

they are far from being independend. This is the first sign of war so why would unindependent media be now "honest"?

That really made me laugh because it is western media that is biased and possibly nonindependent. Way to go western media, great attempt to start another war USA.

Anyone remembers when Fox has interviewed a girl and a women from South Osetia? Here's that interview. Look at how independent and unbiased your media is.
