Cursing/Using Swear Words

I think cursing is appropriate when around your friends (if it's not every other word O_o), but around girls you should cut back on it. I use it sometimes around friends, and when I get angry.

I'd find it pretentious to change your personality based on the gender of the person you talk with.

Not that cursing is necessarily positive; Only if it's used tastefully and in the correct usage. In the modern teen usage, it just sounds weak and watered-down due to being overused.

Really, it's hard to even start comprehending how lame of an insult "faggot"/"retard" is. The kind of stuff you hear on a CounterStrike channel.

I agree.

Also, I hate how every teenagers vocab involves a cuss word every 3-5 words.

To Bluelancer: You can say "[developmentally delayed]"? I guess I can't >.<

My stereotype senses are tingling!

Although you get a lot of over-swearing teenagers, not every teenager (such as me) swears like that. I only swear to myself when in pain or very annoyed, or I use words such as 'damn' and 'crap', sparingly, which are on the borderline of actual swearing anyway.

I never use the f-bomb because it's such a generic word that it really has no use, just to make yourself look desperate to fit in the crowd.

But yeah, I tend to curse alot - only when I'm frustrated or I feel it better explains my epic stories.

Yep, the average teenager uses [bleep] and [developmentally delayed] so much that it's basically lost all meaning it ever had as an insult. Just listen to an irate tennager on a game like COD4, it's always [bleep] this and [developmentally delayed] that
