Money Making Guide

 

Hey i just joined the forums and i wanted to help so here :

 

 

 

Here couple of methods of making money.

 

 

 

1st Method

Requirments:

 

-insect repellent (located north of catherby bank)

 

 

 

step 1: Grab your Insect Repellent and run west of catherby bank untill you reach the bee hives.

 

 

 

 

step 2: right click the hives and select Take-Honey. keep taking the honey till your full and then bank.

 

 

 

 

step 3: Repeat step 2 untill you have a decent amount

 

 

 

step 4: sell at the Grand Exchange and claim your pixels

 

 

 

 

The Math

 

honeycomb=109gp

 

 

 

well i can get about 1.2k honeycombes per hour.

 

 

 

1200x109=130800gp

 

 

 

130k per hour isnt pretty bad for having no skills

 

 

 

Note: sometimes people do buy honeycombs for more than 109 each[/hide]

 

 

 

 

 

2nd Method

 

[hide=]Making Game Necklaces

 

 

 

Requirments:

 

-7 magic

 

-22 crafting

 

-water staff(highly suggested or you will lose money by using water runes)

 

 

 

Supplies needed:

 

-gold bar

 

-sapphire

 

-cosmic rune

 

 

 

step 1: buy an decent amount of gold bars,sapphire, and cosmics.

 

 

 

step 2: go to a furnace and use the gold bar on it and to make sapphire necklaces.(if you have Varrock armour 1 you might wanna use the furnace in edgeville, it is also the closest to the Grand Exchange)

 

 

 

 

step 3: when your are done enchant all of your necklaces.

 

 

 

step 4: sell them and collect your hard earned cash

 

 

 

 

Time for the math

 

 

 

supplies cost

 

 

 

200=gold bar

 

305=sapphire

 

157=cosmic

 

total=662

 

 

 

games necklace = 822-850gp.

 

 

 

you make 220gp per games necklace

 

 

 

220x1000= 220k

 

 

 

you also get=

 

-17.5k magic xp

 

-crafting xp(i need somone to find that out, im to tired)[/hide]

Quick Fishing Guide

 

[hide=]This is a guide to get fast Fishing Xp. Many player may know and Many may not but I would like to give a free guide on how to get fast Fishing xp.

 

 

 

Items and Skill Reqirements:

 

 

 

70 fishing is useful but you dont need it.

 

 

 

You must be a member.

 

 

 

you MUST have 45 Agility and 45 Strength

 

 

 

You will need to bring a knife and about 100 feathers/bait to get started.

 

 

 

 

 

This method is Heavy Fly Fishing. You get more xp then salmon/trout because there is also another fish involed called Sturgeon. This gives 80xp Per catch. Also each catch gives a small amount of Agility and Strength Xp Also. When you cut the fish you also get Cooking xp. (Minimal but still some)

 

 

 

First start off by talking to otto in his house. Here is a map of the area:

 

 

 

 

When you talk to him he will tell you about heavy fly fishing and such. Search his bed after to get the fishing rod. (You can get as many as you want. Just keep searching) From here go to one of the fishing spots and fish a full inventory load of Fish.

 

 

 

 

After you fish the full load you will want to cut the fish. Keep the knife the in second to last slot and cut all of the fish. You will not always get a full load of roe and caviar. Only with 90+ cooking

 

 

 

 

Now Fish until You do not have any more free inventory space. Now drop the cutoffs or the Feathers/bait and use the roe/caviar for the rest of the bait.

 

 

 

Keep repeating this method because it is the Fastest Fishing xp in my opinion[/hide]

Are honeycombs in high demand? How long do they take to sell at med price?

I like the second one bth, gives you craftin, magic, and smithin xp along with a tad bit of money not great for makin a bunch of money but sorta spits it in half so you get money and xp which is good

well it took me 5 minutes to sell all those honeycomb and i dont really know if they are in high demand

Heres a good one people normally forget.

 

Summoning spirit spiders then using the egg spawn scrolls. Its good money and good summoning exp. Plus the scrolls and pouches/seconds are easy to get hold of.

I already knew about the honeycombs but I didn't know that crafting could be profitable!

Off Topic:does anyone know how much begging off the npc's in rimmington would be an hour?

another good money makin for lower levels is cave slimes the need 13 slayer to kill and they drop swamp tar every kill and gives a decent amount of cash but u must use 3 super anti poisens a hour and gives about 213k ea hor

Salmon are more cost effective than wine and they don't reduce any stats. I always use salmon for training.
