D Jay99
It's made the same way as normal rings (sapphire rings or something), it uses a slayer gem. Gold bar + slayer gem + ring mould at furnace.

nwor
But unlike most jewelry, you don't need to enchant it. Just make it like D Jay99 said and it's ready to use.
D Jay99
No enchantment, just level 75 crafting. No idea if you can use assist if you've bought the ability to make them.
Mike_Ike111
It will crumble away after you use it up too.
Hantoumei
If you have bought the ability to make slayer rings, i can confirm that you can make them with assistance from a 75+ crafter. Only the gold part of the ring will crumble though, you can reuse the gem.
ajk822
Yes you can use assist, at first you couldn't, but they fixed it so that you can. 4031st person to 99 Thieving on 5/25/2008If anyone plays NBA Live '08 online on the Wii please PM me. nwor
Using a pyrelord lets you craft them without a forge, which makes getting assistance for them a lot easier. :)
Hantoumei
Yes, but unless it has been changed, no exp except for the marginal summoning exp is gained from using a pyrelord.

I've never use a pyrelord for anything other than rings of slaying so far, and used assistance to do that so I was expecting to get 0 exp then. Are you saying we can't get any crafting exp while crafting jewelery with a pyrelord?

Are you saying we can't get any crafting exp while crafting jewelery with a pyrelord? no, he is saying that if you are being assisted and then use a pyrelord to make the ring, you are only getting the exp from using the summoning scroll, rather than exp from, the ring because you are being assisted.... cat666
The ring does not crumble away after it's uses, you get the gem back and can then re-make it into another ring. Most people have a huge stash of rings though as they are so cheap. Trust the Gene Genie!
Deathmath
Do you have to buy the ability to make them to use them? Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
oliboli1992
no, because i think for 75 slayer point you can buy a slayer ring from any slayer masters....so you can use it, but it'll last 8 times before it runs out.. spuriousmonkey
I raised my crafting 5 levels just so that I can make them. And I love them.
Troacctid
I raised my crafting 5 levels just so that I can make them. And I love them. I raised my crafting 12 levels and I don't regret it. \ The teleports to Pollnivneach are practically the same as a house teleport if you set your house there; you can run to the portal in mere seconds. Not to mention the ease of access to Sumona and the smoky slayer dungeon, which are obvious of course. And as if running from Sumona to the house portal to a Kharyrll portal wasn't quick enough, you can also go right to the doors of the Slayer Tower. And the Slayer Dungeon is head and shoulders above Edgeville for closest teleport to a fairy ring, besides being right next to the Slayer Dungeon. And of course, you can teleport directly to the Terror Dogs, which is way better than having to skip that task every time. You can even teleport directly to Tarn if you haven't killed him already. Slayer rings ftw. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP

No, i mean if you use the pyrelord's scroll to make any jewellery, you get no exp for it besides the summoning exp. Unless this has been changed.
