alternative agility training methods

Recommended Posts

At this moment my agility level is 68. I tried the wildy course, but since my combat is 72, there is a wide range of revenants who can attack me. So I decided to try leveling at Ape Atoll, but it turns out that I can't get to the location since Daero is only offering me experience from the completion of Monkey Madness quest (not going to accept this experience boost). Unless there is another way to Ape Atoll, I would like to ask some suggestions about where to level agility other than wildy course.

What about that Ape Atoll tele?

:? Besides that I would say Brimhaven is your only choice.

to get ape atoll tele you need to have saved king awowogwei in rfd, and to start that you need to have beaten monkey madness.

the only decent training you can get is brimhaven unfortunately.

Dorgushkaan agility course with summer pies.

Faster exp than ape atoll, funner imo, but it is rather empty.

Toy mice were a good way to level agility once? How much exp did it gave? What happened to them?

Those were nerfed, they only give 3 exp per mouse now. Why don't you want the exp from Daero, are you a pure?

If i start i at lv 65 and boost with pie twice (same as 75 agility) how much will i fail at this course?? Cause its very good xp....

A LOT. I believe it only becomes better then ape atoll at level 83-86, don't even consider it with 65 agility. Also, if I'm reading this right, you plan to eat two pies to boost it twice. That won't work - stat boost do not stack, or we'd have people running around with level 10,000 strength ;)

DeviledEgg24.png

Drops: 1x Draconic Visage, 56x Abyssal Whip, 5x Demon Head, D Drops: 37, Barrows Drops: 43, DK Drops: 29

GWD drops: 14,000x Bars, 1x Armadyl Hilt, 2x Armadyl Skirt, 4x Sara Sword, 1x Saradomin Hilt, 8x Bandos Hilt, 8x Bandos Platebody, 9x Bandos Tassets, 4x Bandos Boots, 43x Godsword Shard, 82x Dragon Boots

Dry streak records: Saradomin 412 kills Bandos 988 kills Spirit Mages 633 kills - Slayer Sucks

Actually your waaay off the mark with the fail amount. It amuses me when people overexagurate the fail amount there. I did it from 68-70 agility using pies, only re-eating when i got down to 70 agility so i was the lowest level possible.

I failed maybe 2-3 times per level (yes level) max? its KILLER exp, much much much faster than ape atoll.

I'm level 78 (or maybe 79, haven't played in a couple days), and I failed one every 20 minutes. Of course, I was only there for an hour. But, all the same, at that level it just isn't worth it. And it isn't "much much faster" than ape atoll, if anything it might be the same at that level, considering you'll fail quite a bit at both of those levels. 68-70 agility isn't a long time, either, mind you.

The wilderness course is still your best bet. I don't get why people throw hissy fits over revenants, they're ridiculously easy to avoid there...

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

I went to Agility Arena, it was really fun until people left.

Going to have to try the Dorgesh-Kaan Agility Course, see if it's better exp than Agility Arena.

Will also try the Wilderness course again.

Revs are really easy to avoid at the wilderness course. If they are at the top you just go down the obstacle pipe and maybe change worlds if you don't want to keep avoiding them. If they are at the bottom just out run them until you get to the top. Even at my low combat level revs didn't bother me to much. They made it quite exciting. On the other hand, I found the wilderness course to be very very boring, so I would stick with Brimhaven, maybe go with a few friends, have races. The agility levels just fly when you have fun.
