August 24, 200817 yr I have been killing thousands of earth warriors, skeletons, goblins, zombies, and giants without one single creature champion challenge. Is there any way I can increase the probability of receiving a champion's challenge? I have already talked to Larxus and started the minigame, the only difficulty is accquiring the challenge scrolls. A lvl 115 warrior and still growing.
August 24, 200817 yr I would highly advise against attempting to get challenge scrolls and just go on doing something else. Other then that nothing you can do, I highly doubt talking to anyone or doing anything can help. But yeah, don't bother hunting for them. I also was lucky enough to get one at bandos KC; I believe I've also gotten one from an imp a while ago. I left both of them on the ground - I don't see any benefit from doing them. August 25, 200817 yr A quick search of the Game Guide provided only this about the Ring of Wealth: The ring of wealth increases the chance of getting a rare drop when you kill a monster. You will never get items that are not normally dropped by that monster (e.g. a dragon medium helmet from a chicken) but you may get something that the monster seldom drops. Things like Treasure Trail rewards and Barrows rewards, which aren't monster drops, are not affected by the ring of wealth. No, the ring of wealth does not improve your chances of getting a good drop while you are LootSharing. The ring only works when you are fighting by yourself. If thou consider the possessions of an enemy to be like a roulette wheel, then the 'rare' items so coveted by players are located on a second roulette wheel, that will only be spun shouldst thou roll a specific number on the first wheel. The ring of wealth affects not the number which thou may achieve upon the first wheel, but should thou gain the precise number to allow thee access to the second, the ring will make thy chances of gaining an object on that second roulette wheel all the greater. If Jagex has made any other statement about the ring's workings, it will have been somewhere on the forums or something. As to whether it works or not on champion scrolls, clue scrolls, etc, is mostly a mystery. What rewards? :lol: u get like some slayer xp and combat xp for killing your challenger, like 500 xp ridiculously nothing... heres a quote from the kb: Rewards When you defeat a lower champion you will receive experience for both the Slayer and Hitpoints skills. The amount of experience you receive will depend on which level of champion you are fighting. The higher the level of the champion, the more experience will be gained when it is defeated. Once you have defeated one of the ten champions, a banner will be displayed on the north wall, detailing your victory with that champion. As you defeat more champions, more banners will appear until you have defeated all ten.
