What I said: My MSN Messenger, which is pretty much my E-mail. But last time I checked, rule 13 is ASKING for personal detail. I should be entitled to say my E-mail address.

 

 

 

 

 

Somehow I got tricked into being reported, and it's even in the evidence. I get 5 blackmarks for that...

 

 

 

I mean, if they are going to give you that many blackmarks for one tiny offense, why make the limit 10...

 

 

 

 

 

And also, I had like 3. They moved it to 5 for some reason. Must be because I'm asian...

Chinese gold farmers. And black marks are an all around stupid idea. Even when awarded unfairly, it is nigh impossible to have them removed. Once you have them, you'll never get them taken away. They should be removed, over time, for good behavior.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. If black marks were just temporary and disposable, then they (black marks and the rules) wouldn't taken as seriously. It's similar to the current temporary muting compared to permanent muting. When someone I know gets a temp mute, they blow it off knowing that it'll be gone before too long. However, the threat of a perm mute holds a LOT more weight, and is not blown off as easily.

You broke the rule, you got black marks. The reason why you got 5 is that giving out your MSN is a very serious offence.

Just pm it to people if you want to give it to them. I talk about stuff like that all the time and I've never had any problems.

sorry to burst your bubble, but they do in fact go away in time. i recently had 0.6 black marks a month ago, checked my status last week and i was in the green zone with 0 black marks. though i still perm' banned from RSOF due to me being hacked and spammed but thats an entirely differnet thing. :

 

 

 

however, it does take a LONG time for them to go away. took about 2 years to get rid of 1.5 black marks.

Well, anything related to your personal or real life life isn't allowed on RuneScape. RuneScape's rules are pretty strict, so you should watch what you say. As for the Asian remark, that's accusing JAGeX of racism. I am Asian too and have been reported once, but JAGeX accepted my appeal and I currently have 0 blackmarks. I'm not too sure about the 2 blackmarks you gained through that offense, but an offense is an offense. Sorry mate, guess you'll be more careful next time.

You got a blackmark for breaking the rules. You shouldn't of broke the rules, and ignorance to the rules is no excuse. I suggest reading the rules if you don't fully understand them and stick to them. You should be fine if you do so.

What is the question here? You deserved it. Giving out your own personal details, especially when you know the possible consequences, is a very serious offence. I'm surprised they let you off that easily, if I were Jagex I'd have instantly banned you. And then thank God you only gave away your own. Kids these days. Oh, and you're Asian? What? You shouldn't even play RuneScape! In my age Asian kids were making sportshoes, not lazing off on games! Your kind is what ruins RuneScape. I'll send a special request to Jagex to lock your account, enjoy your ban.

Totally not what the threads about, the blackmarks he obtained were not fair as he was tricked into the blackmarks.

 

 

 

When your asked for you MSN you say 'No" or give it to them, simple.
