Personally I wouldn't bother camping because where they are at the chaos tunnels makes them so easy to get to from edgeville bank you may aswell just bring an inventory of food and that will last you a good while.

if they drop alchable items and notmuch else then i was going to go to the desert....if it a bad idea or theres some evidence against them then ill go to chaos tunnels but otherwise ill go to the desert.

They're closer to each other in the Chaos tunnels, and they're easier to get to. You can bank fast once you run out of super sets. They're usually empty on german servers or random <1000 player worlds.

If you really want to camp there for a chain, which is a horrible idea and you will most likel be disappointed, you could take guthans to heal off of the rats next door. That limits you to 15 hours after which you can contemplate on the amount of your life tha you have wasted

Also, you can do more damage than anything that you can summon, so a bunyip would help you more by decreasing the amount of time that you need to stop fighting and heal. 15 hours of bunyips is what...20 bunyips? That will be 19 or 18 doses of summoning potion depending if you're above or below level 76(5 full pots will work either way). Also note that I have no idea what your summoning level is and if it's below 68, this does not apply to you at all.

First off, don't camp for a chain. By the time you get one you'll probably have averaged about 20k gp an hour.

Second, if you do camp for a chain, don't camp without super attack and strength potion. Huge waste of time when a bank is a couple minutes away. HUGE waste. The faster kills will easily pay for the tiny amount the potions cost, and you'll easily get more kills per hour, despite the small bank trips.

Third, seriously, go somewhere else. Slayer is more fun, you get a 15% att and str boost wherever you go, and eventually you'll get to monsters worth camping.

I don't understand why everyone else says to not camp them. They are great for crimson charms, and are easy to hit on.

I would do guthans instead of b2p because with most of their drops you won't have enough space to pick up bones.

They aren't great for charms, and you hit better on most tasks with a slayer mask than on dust devils without.

You go try to use Guthan's on a dust devil and tell me what happens :P

Well they are not great but they are probably the best exp per hour combined with a good crimson rate

Nope. Try nechryael- twice the crimsons and hardly any more defense. Better drops as well in my opinion. Black demons are pretty good too. And of course, the exp from waterfiends isn't terrible, and you probably get 4 or 5 times the crimsons per hour.
