September 1, 200817 yr 1 - Jagex cant do squat. 2 - Im sick of you morons with the ignore list. Its called FRIENDS CHAT, smart guy, and if thats too much for you, change worlds. That simple. Too hard? Unless you block 100+ people a day, you can CLEAR it the next day, chances are the person cant even remember who you were let alone how your name was spelt to put it back on. 3 - Dont play minigames, and dont give into the noobs. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th
September 1, 200817 yr Okay bye. Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
September 1, 200817 yr There's no reason to keep playing then. There's heaps of nice mmorpgs to play, and other hobbies too. 1 - Jagex cant do squat. You're kinda proving his point :twss:
September 1, 200817 yr First, have you ever considered that the so-called "rules of engagement" don't apply to anyone, anywhere, at any time? If he wanted to attack you while you were casting Curse, so be it. If he feels like killing you, he has a right to do it, and you have none to complain about it. Second, it's not anyone's fault but your own for being so damn gullible when it comes to this minigame. Win or lose, survive or die, that's the whole freaking point of FoG. Level differences mean little to nothing if you've got a brain in your head. Third, I don't see where Jagex has said over 135 million players. I see accounts, so yes, they took into account that 1 player created more than 1 account for themselves. Lastly, goodbye, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Perhaps when you come back to us next, you'll be a little more mature. A longshot, yes, but perhaps. September 1, 200817 yr You know, one of the differences between real life and Runescape is that in Runescape they will make the nasty, snide little comments to your face and not wait until your back is turned. *sigh* Welcome to the world boys and girls, it ain't a nice place. And the bigger it keeps getting, the more "faceless" each player becomes. Without being limited to a specific world, you just bounce all over the place and you never get to know your neighbors. And, they don't get to know you. In small community games, (and small communities) the people who keep order in the community are the players themselves, as they will ostracize anyone who goes outside of the boundaries that have been set. While you can play by yourself in a MMORPG, what is the point of it? However, if the community grows faster than players can instill the sense of community in the new players, there is a loss of culture. Ask long time players how it was back in the old days and what the community was like and you'll see how it has changed. Admittedly, Jagex has attempted to keep the community spirit alive (which is the reason behind several of the rules), but without the backing of the majority of the community, it just won't happen. Best thing to do is catch players as they start and help them to form a positive image of the community that they WANT to see in this game. Then those players can help to pass it along to others. Focus on doing this and keeping such a community to one or two worlds to begin with and expand from there. But, if YOU do nothing to attempt to improve the community except complain about how bad it is, you are not helping the situation any and have given up your right to complain about it. Ok, enough rambling, hope I made a bit of sense.
September 1, 200817 yr Ok, let's overlook the content of the game, but because a number of players have bad attitudes or don't let you get phree expee in FOG, the game is a piece of crap and Jagex hates their players. Right, call us back when you stop pounding your fists on the floor and wipe the little tears from your face, and finish your world class hissy fit. It's not the game that is pathetic, it's you and the fact that you're responding to this like a 5 year old complaining to mommy that the kids across the street called him a poopoo face. If you can't handle some stranger over the internet not playing by your rules, then not only is Runescape not for your, the internet may not be for you either.
September 1, 200817 yr They don't have 1M users lol, they have 1M current members. The thing on the main page says "over 130M accounts created". Since his skills werent nerfed enough huh? what do you mean by that? That he didn't have low stats? That is not nerfed stats
September 1, 200817 yr This game is a compelte failure community wise. Your taunting the incinerators when you go on a community fan site and say the community is a failure  Parts of the communtiy do, as you would put it, fail, every communtiy has it. In rs unfornunately it seems to be the majority, as the worse elements also often seem to be loudest, in game anyway. There are ascepts to the community which are good, you just posted on one of them, if you try to focus on that rather than the whining noobs you'll probably think the community isnt that bad overall really. Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.
September 1, 200817 yr there will always be ppl u despise or dont like in pvp activities. there is really nothing that can be done. my suggestion to jagex is to make fog based on rating. so u get paired with someone close to ur cmb level. otherwise it stinks.
September 1, 200817 yr I don't see how Jagex could make players more polite/let you get exp on them in FoG... I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
September 1, 200817 yr Author Meh nvm about this topic. Besides the point wasnt about free exp. I d say it was more aimed at respect I threw the game for him so I could train a level or two and the fact that he was level 117 and I was level 20 sorta made it a bit hard considering He attacked for a constant 8 on me while I was hunting him Maxed hp and melee stats even if nerfed kinda beats 29 hp and 1 def. But yea im over my hissy fit I suppose. I just wont play these pointless minigames anymore. The only worth while is Tears of Guthix but intil I get mem back on my Main I cant. Anyways thanks for all the input I guess I shouldnt of been playing at liek 4 in the morning with little sleep. Sorry for the hassle I caused.
September 1, 200817 yr But yea im over my hissy fit I suppose. I just wont play these pointless minigames anymore. The only worth while is Tears of Guthix but intil I get mem back on my Main I cant. I stopped bothering with PVP and the wilderness because of the attitudes of most of the people. I've never bounty hunter'ed and I plan on using the no-drop free for all update this month, assuming there are rewards for it. If you hate something in the game, only use it when you absolutely must. For example, in the old wilderness, doing the mage arena was extremely annoying because of the people who would camp the bank teleport.
