September 4, 200817 yr Hey, Just got hellhounds for slayer, and as much as I hate them, need the points. Should I melee them (whip) or range them (rune c'bow + broad bolts)? Retired Tip.It Crew Mapper.
September 4, 200817 yr Range. Melee'ing them is a real pain, you'll need lots of food, and they're just too far from bank for that

Would rather bank for food than do that. Trust the Gene Genie!
September 4, 200817 yr I'd say until you're 68 summoning, have bones to peaches, and have all 80+ melee, range will be the most efficient option, although it could be faster with melee.
September 4, 200817 yr Melee is much faster. Use the Hellhounds by Ard. and bring 20 stolen cakes from the marketplace. By stealing the cakes you won't mind losing the food as much. Also try to find a busy world so that the Hellhounds respawn faster. Range is safer, but will make the task very very long.
September 4, 200817 yr I just bring guthans and a lil food in between healings, and it's very simple. Bones to peach spells/tabs may work for you. But ranging them is easier, but longer.
