You might be able to just buff the game a few times though, that might take care of it if the scratches aren't too deep. My friend did that, and the game worked afterwards. Take it to a local gamestop or ebgames or whatever game stores your area has, they should have a machine that buffs games.

I'm pretty sure they also sell either a machine or a windex-like substance that can do just that as well.

There is, actually I am looking at a bottle of it right now, but I got it a while ago. Mine is used for cleaning CDs and DVDs.

All I know is that it works like that. The same thing that happened to Mlb happened to some friends and their Rock Band disc, and that's the first thing that they looked for.

If my PS3 was standing vertical and I turned it horizantal it wouldn't scratch the disc. Also the PS3 has a thing so I can get a wireless connection rather than a wired one, you have to pay money to get that on the 360.

Man, why do I even have a 360?

Erm...

I have a 360. My connection is wireless, so I don't know where you got that gripe from. And why would you move your 360 with a disc in it?

Cause some people can't have the common sence to turn off and move #-o

No, because some people accidentally tip them over while playing. asshat.

First, my name is not Asshat. Please refrain from calling me that.

Second, How would you tip your console over. You aren't sitting on it, are you?

I think that's why you keep it horizontal to begin with.

But now this begs the question; if it's vertical, and doesn't scratch too often, and horizontal it doesn't scratch, what about a constant 45 degree angle?

You are a twisted man, Lenin. A very twisted man, who likes to mess with the way stuff operates... Lets google the results!

Probably scratches very often, the 360 is meant to be left at a 45 degree angle, only vertical or horizontal, preferably horizontal.

And MLB, I consider you a troll in this thread now for asking why you even own a 360. Besides, I'm sure that if my PS3 tipped over, I would be pissed off no matter what, there's still potential for damage. I would never own a PS3 simply because I hate the controller. It is way to sensitive, small, and the position of the left thumb stick and d-pad is horrible to me. I can deal with a heavier controller, it's not like I can't lift 500 grams.

Now, to actually help you out, you will need to either buy a new game, or use Microsoft's Disc Replacement program, which costs you around $20 to replace your disc. You mail in 90+% of the disc, and they mail you a brand new one back. Fortunately for me, EB Games is awesome and replaces my stuff if I had bought a $3 warranty when I bought it. Already saved me a couple hundred dollars due to my Guitar Hero guitars breaking, along with having scratched 2 discs beyond playability (Same scratches as yours).

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Not as bad as nintendo when my wii died i went to the site and it showed an address to send things to but says to call them first, after waiting an hour to talk to someone they just said to just send it to the address on the site :-s

Haha wow. And I thought that standing a 360 on a 45 degree angle was stupid.
