Well, I'm getting my membership back soon and i want to know if at level 81 woodcutting would Yew logs or Magic logs be better for money. I would be using a rune axe and I would not be cutting Magic trees at the elve's place.

You would probably get a little bit more money with magics.

 

I would recommend yews though, so you can get exp and money.

Yews and buy a dragon axe.

 

 

 

Or borrow one.

You'd get a bit more money from Magics, but the Xp is really really slow. I'd stick to Yews if I were you. If money is really an issue then I'd do something more efficient for cash besides WCing.

oh and can anyone tell me about how much hours it takes to cut 1k yews and how long it takes to cut 1k mages?

For me, i can cut around 300-400 yews in 1h.

 

 

 

For magics, I can cut around 110.

yas they are about the same money but you will get more xp with yews

The reason that I want to do magics is that I want to do my homework while cutting them and it would be easier to afk then yews.

overthink eucalyptus, about the same price as yews and lower wc requirement

Yews are good money.

 

Magics are better, but it takes more time to cut them, so I'd stick with yews.

 

D Axe is 1.6 mil nowadays, so it's a good idea to buy one now. You will gain your investment back.

If you are not fussed about money chop willows with an Inferno Adze.

 

 

 

This burns 50% of the logs so you are basically getting the XP of 42 logs per inventory plus some firemaking XP.

 

 

 

You do need 92 firemaking though...

Magics and yews are both pretty bad money, but as far as semi-afk goes, meh. You'd get more with pure essence mining. Try that. Or eucs. And use a dragon axe if you're gonna wc.

if you ask me do mages if you want cassh and dont really care about time spent

 

or do yews if you are short on time and still want some big money (but less then mages)
