limpbizkit Posted September 23, 2008 Share Posted September 23, 2008 Xbox Live down 29th September Xbox LIVE and Xbox.com will be down for 24 hours from 0900 UK time (1000 CET) on September 29 - but its not all bad news! This downtime is really important as the Xbox LIVE team will be using it to prepare the service for the arrival of the New Xbox Experience later this year! The theory from most XB fanboys is that because XBL costs to play the servers will be maintained/looked after and rule breakers/glitchers will be banned, while PS has bad servers and its full of rule breakers etc. But i play PS3 and 360 online reguarly and ive seen no visable difference. Sony knows how vital online gaming and it is probably the key thing for next-gen consoles that is why the made it free, to attract buyers.
