This is not a multi-combat area but you won't get attacked by the skeleton if another is fighting it. You cant get out, if you try Greatar says "No, no, no. We have newly started" and if you try to get comes "I'd better not come in and mess up the battle", you cant log out either, the only way to get out in the battle is to use teleport spells (any would do), he doesnt block teleport spells. ___________________ 7/2/2005 Fixed: Air Rune 7/6/2005 Changed the way of fixing scimitars. 7/18/2005 Drop Changes
Zonorhc
You should remove the rune dagger from the drop list. The monster's level 48, and undead as well, so it'll be far too easy to kill it. Also, reduce the number of runes dropped. Look at the existing monsters around that level and scale the drop amounts accordingly. Same goes with the amulet of power. No monsters at that level drop it, since JAGeX balanced monsters to drop terrible items even at high levels. For crying out loud, what IS with you and scimitars? It's as if you worship the damned things. Also, why would you want to use nails on a sword? The best you'll do is damage the blade horribly, and at worst you'll find it flying off in the middle of combat. The process of reforging weapons involves a furnace, anvil, hammer and a bucket of water, not nails hammered into metal. Also, try to improve your English. It's probably better that some people's, but your sentences are clumsy. Oh, and this isn't the best suggestion. Blaze The Movie Fan
Sorry about the waiting. Update today is about the air runes. Also one thing must be done. Tell me, what metal shall I replace to Rune Dagger? And why not rune dagger? Everyone knows daggers sucks. Even rune dagger. So why shall I get rid of rune dagger? Yeah, why? Domovoi
If you really want to implement greater skeletons ok....But hammering nails into a scimitar is definitely not going to fix it...Like Zonorhc said: it'll make it more likely to bloody break! idiot911
Because it happens to high alc for a decent penny... most lvl 48 or so monsters drop steel which high alc for a TAD less. Please tell me you don't think people use those items from monster drops? Most of the lvl 20s walking around with steel/mith bought them in stores or their friend gave them to them. Blaze The Movie Fan
You can use knife to put the paste on the scimitar. Well, but I have to ask one question. Is anything wrong to have adamant full faced helm as a monster drop on this monster? Is it? Please feel free to commenting about what I can improve. Zonorhc
You can use knife to put the paste on the scimitar. Well, but I have to ask one question. Is anything wrong to have adamant full faced helm as a monster drop on this monster? Is it? Please feel free to commenting about what I can improve. Check the droplists of monsters around that level and scale it accordingly. It's a better balancing tool than sitting there waiting for replies. And a knife to put PASTE on a weapon to REPAIR it? You're not serious, are you? If you are, then you're evidently quite oblivious to the whole concept of reforging and repairing edged weapons. What you need: A heat source to make the metal malleable again, an anvil and a hammer to reforge the metal, and a water source to cool the metal before re-heating and hammering it some more. What you DON'T need: Paste, nails or a knife. Varrock Library: Shattered Sky | Silent Thunder | The Emperor's FinestAstri @ MythWeavers
willyhenriksen
agreed, and any level 30 could kill this and get a rune dagger or a addy helmet and its to good, and i wouldnt use nails at a sword forexample, it would make it fall of and it would look bad. ive seen real swords so i know this R.I.P. Crim_nimora
.......lol.......paste and a knife and hammer and nails........Thats how you fix metal.....dude I spent 4 years in custom metal fabrication and not once did I attempt to build a mould with glue and nails. Do you know what generally bonds metal? You have a very high voltage melting device with a special filler being fed through it, its called a welder, now in order to keep the heat from spreading the nozle releases argon around the weld. Now garanted the RS version of a hammer on a block is a bit farfetched.....but glue.......good luck with that sword zippy.
elk
UUh...... Lv 48........... Hmm......... Also, what the hell is the point of going through all of that for a bloody IRON OR STEEL SCIMMY??? Honestly.... I'm sorry, but all of your suggestions are nooby, badly thought out, and are just cluttering the forums ...... Yes I am a girl. No, I won't be your girlfriend.
Blaze The Movie Fan
May I ask one question, why can't I let Greatar drop rune dagger? I mean, a level 24 Hobogoblin sometimes drops rune javelin. That's a rune, isn't it?
lpinkus
May I ask one question, why can't I let Greatar drop rune dagger? I mean, a level 24 Hobogoblin sometimes drops rune javelin. That's a rune, isn't it? Ok, fine, a *rare* rune dagger drop is ok. As far as repairing the sword thing, goes, both sides are being too extreme. Yes, paste and nails does not sound realistic, but all you professional metal workers (heh) out there also need to lighten u. All you really do is "make X (insert metal) (insert item)s." :) lpinkus

That's a rune, isn't it? I didn't know hobo-goblins existed. Anyways great idea. Just rethink the purpose of this monster. Maybe make a boss like monster that requires a few people to slay it? Also, rethink the drops. Sup noobs.

Blaze The Movie Fan
Before telling the updates I will note that Skeleton Greatar will ALWAYS drop addy full helm. That's never gonna change. But the rarity (however) will probably be changed. Rune Dagger is one of Skeleton Greatar's drop. Unfortuntley the worst rune item is the only rune item Greatar drops. Amulet Of Power isn't needed. Skeleton Greatar is away to powerfu.......I mean under-powered to have that drop, so instead I have removed it once and for all.
