Crocs Slayer Task...

Well my slayer person just set me a task to kill like 34 crocs.

 

 

 

I went for a quick search for them, couldn't find many. And found I was wasting tons of water skins. Which isn't convenient considering I want to bring with more food.

 

 

 

1) Where exactly are these crocodiles?

 

2) What is the best method to use while slaying them? (Path to take/weapons/armour/inv)

 

 

 

And shamefully I can't skip this task... So I figured I might as well get it done.

 

 

 

Any help on the matter is appreciated

Best place to fight them is just east of Sophanem, assuming you can access the bank there. Also use the enchanted water tiara to avoid heat damage.

It's a hard quest, if your assignment of crocodiles is only 34, I don't think you'll be able to do it, sorry. ;)

The assignment I'm given doesn't reflect my combat status.

 

 

 

But for the quest I need to do some agility/thieving work before I can even start it

 

 

 

but won't 74 combat be enough to do the quest?

 

 

 

 

If not, I can just work on getting the levels needed :D

There are some crocs slightly south of the dessert hunting place. Walk due east from the Shantay pass, over the bridge, and a bit south.

Close to impossible, even. Just skip them, it's a stupid task anyways.

I kill the crocodiles south of pollivneach. Just glory tele to al kharid, run south to shantay's pass, go a bit into the desert, and take the magic carpet to pollivneach. From there, go a bit east, then south. The crocodiles should be down by the river.

 

 

 

As a lvl 98, i did my crocs task with a whip, rune def, and desert robes. There's a general store in pollivneach that sells waterskins. If you're only going to do the quest for 34 crocodiles, it's probably not worth it.

 

 

 

Considering your stats, that's one tough assignment. I'd suggest metal armor and plenty of monkfish. Buy waterskins in pollivneach of you run out of water.

If you got the conlevel for moving your house to poli, you have pretty fast acces to them.

follow the river south of polivneach, you will find them pretty quickly :P

I have decided to just work my combat up to 85, so I can do the smoking kills quest; in turn allowing me to skip this current Croc task :P

 

 

 

It looks like too much hassle to do considering this is out in the desert, so that leaves me bulking around with waterskins and such.

Remember you will need to complete 4 tasks in a row after completing Smoking Kills to gain points to be able to skip the task. I just recommend you Burthorpe it, and then continue slayer until 85 cb. Then you can do Smoking Kills, and gather points as you go.
