If you can't see it, it's quickchat -> items -> i got an item -> "oxidised".

 

 

 

Possibly PvP armour? Oxidised can mean rusted irl so maybe it's a degraded new armour, either way it's definitely new! :shock:

 

 

 

EDIT: I thought I might give this topic a bit more discussion worth. My mate and I were discussing what it could be, and think that perhaps considering it's a full set then maybe it's too much to be PvP rewards? But then what could it be? Dropped only by monsters in PvP worlds perhaps? Or a later update of some other month?

Hmm, I'm thinking that it's degraded PvP as well. But, you never know....

Maybe the armor will be like FoG stuff, degrades and you can recharge it somehow. :|

It's from Dealing With Scabaras. You have to put bronze armor in camel turd to make it appear "rusted".

oxidised, when used in respect to a metal, usually means rusted

 

It can also mean set on fire though

 

 

 

maybe the short lasting pk gear they spoke of was flaming gear

 

and the items listed are just what's left over after that gear is burned out.
