Questions:

 

 

 

1.How did the hacker get the password in the first place.

 

2.How did the hacker get the new account name, unless he pmed his old account first...seems impossible that the hacker would go through and randomly add the same name with different numbers.

 

3.What motives would the hacker have of training the account.

 

4.Getting 99's take extreme amounts of time. You suggest that he got multiple 99's on the account. Even if the kid was at lvl 98, the hacker would probably get bored.

 

 

 

 

 

Someone who is malicious enough to steal account would do whatever he could to hurt the account. If he couldn't transfer the wealth the kid would either just drop everything, or sell the account on some RWT website.

I wouldn't brand anyone who steals someone's Runescape password a "hacker."

 

 

 

Script kiddie is more or less the proper term. They use programs and don't understand how they work. A true hacker changes how programs work, whether it be good or bad. I won't go into detail though.

You can't hack RuneScape accounts, you can only guess passwords and keylog people, everyone knows this.

 

 

 

The reason you "cant hack an account" is because it's all stored at Jagex's end, if you were to "hack an account" you could have access to anyone's account as you would have control of every account stored on that hard-drive at Jagex HQ.
