It's not a matter of getting me to believe it or not, everything in your story seems so flawed that it leads people to believe you're just making it up for attention. I will post what I feel because you're the one who posted here, you just can't turn away and hide everytime someone disagrees with what you think  99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
October 12, 200817 yr hes just a regular hacker who wanted to enjoy the feeling of being good on rs, so he took the acc played on it and when he got bored he gave it back, report him or not i doubt he will comeback. and that type of hacker has always been around, its just extremely rare and its also one of the few types left now so its more common i suppose. 4000000657th to 99 cookin555555406th to 99 flethcin

October 12, 200817 yr How did the hacker know your friends new account name?lets say his numbers were 2000. His new name was the exact same except for 2001. And he was in his friendslist too... So he added his own account to his friendlist prior to being "hacked"? Sorry, I don't believe this story. You're either making it up or changing the facts Maybe the way he firgured out his password might have been a Keylogger and he tracked him by seeing him put his new account? That's just too convenient. I doubt anyone would go through all that trouble anyways. He went throught the Trouble of getting him money and 99's no? Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
October 12, 200817 yr This seems kind of like the pickpocket that mails you back your wallet and ID. :S Good that your friend got his account back, by the way, but I feel bad for him missing out. He probably has new friends on his list, and he didn't get to work for the 99's or the money. So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son.
October 12, 200817 yr why is this a thread, it has nothing to do with hacking and has little discussion value. what do i say other then this? he was not "hacked" he was most likely key logged. what does anyone else say? oh, thats lucky, or i could simply state that kind of information to jagex(that a "hacker" leveled me up for a while) instead of actually haveing a brother/sister/friend account share. point?
October 12, 200817 yr So your friend reported the Hacker? The one who was on your friend's account at the time? Give Jagex's customer service, your friend will NEVER get that account back. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
October 12, 200817 yr So your friend reported the Hacker? The one who was on your friend's account at the time? Give Jagex's customer service, your friend will NEVER get that account back. I was thinking the same thing. Did he report his own account for hacking ? Who are they going to ban ?

He said he reported the account for hacking. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt206/samtheninja/Tags/FEARLESStag.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy156/song4thedeaf/stuff.png what i'm doing now: https://linktr.ee/student1

So he added his own account to his friendlist prior to being "hacked"? Sorry, I don't believe this story. You're either making it up or changing the facts What is weird about that? I was hacked once, and I added my account onto my friends list to see if I could talk to the hacker :| The hacker pmed him, not the other way around. The first post said the new account was created AFTER the hack and he started from scratch. So how did the new account appear on the old one's friend list if it was hacked already? [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. I own. http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.
October 13, 200817 yr I really wish this would happen to me. I had a skiller which I made in about 2005. I was doing pretty well, but I forgot to set recovery questions (how could I forget that?). One day, I can't log in, and then I immediately go to the Recovery Questions and realize my mistake. >.< Look him up if you want, the hacker turned it into a very decent account. I still miss it, though.... every day. :( So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son.
October 13, 200817 yr The word hacker is abused. For someone to hack someones account they would have you hack into runescape (Which is, as far as I know, unless you are a jagex employee, impossibe). Assuming your story is true, which I have a hard time believeing, its far more likely that he installed a keylogger or his password was worked out by real life 'friends'. quit
October 13, 200817 yr How did he report the hacker?, unless of course he reported his own account which is kinda stupid. Doomy edit: I like sheep
October 13, 200817 yr If somone hacked my account i would cry like a girl-guide with a freshly skinned knee.
October 13, 200817 yr How did he report the hacker?, unless of course he reported his own account which is kinda stupid. well, their are ways to contact jagex. I am not familiar with the details in the differences of this scenario Vs. basically, telling jagex, lock my account someone unauthorized is on it. so, i must assume that means it simply gets locked for a time. The time period can be whatever. My friend had something similar happen where his account was locked for like 940 days. Only reason was because he did not attempt to correctly recover the account. so, like someone said "given jagex, you might never get it back" thats just an obvious cheap shot with not merit behind it.
October 13, 200817 yr i think this story is made up imo. the chances of that happening is very rare. 1) how did the hacker know his new account? 2) how he got 99s and money in a couple of days? 3) how did he report the hacker? by reporting himself?
October 13, 200817 yr He the hacked used an auto-click program to get those 99 then the account might be in jeopardy. In this case, it will be very hard to make a case for it though. How would Jagex know that the account was really hacked and that it wasnt him? People just dont hack to get 99s and then give it back.
October 13, 200817 yr I'd still be pissed. What if I wanted to train my skills to 99 by myself?? +1. My 99s are special to me. I would be very pissed to miss my 99 screenshot and the party and the first skill cape and everything great that comes with a 99.
October 13, 200817 yr its kinda like that burger king commercial where the king puts money in your pocket
October 13, 200817 yr its kinda like that burger king commercial where the king puts money in your pocket lol i was thinking the exact same just now.
October 13, 200817 yr Story seems fabricated... Questions: 1.How did the hacker get the password in the first place. 2.How did the hacker get the new account name, unless he pmed his old account first...seems impossible that the hacker would go through and randomly add the same name with different numbers. 3.What motives would the hacker have of training the account. 4.Getting 99's take extreme amounts of time. You suggest that he got multiple 99's on the account. Even if the kid was at lvl 98, the hacker would probably get bored. Someone who is malicious enough to steal account would do whatever he could to hurt the account. If he couldn't transfer the wealth the kid would either just drop everything, or sell the account on some RWT website. Seems like we have a case of 3rd grader attention seeker
October 13, 200817 yr its kinda like that burger king commercial where the king puts money in your pocket lol i was thinking the exact same just now. once i read that post i thought of that lol
October 13, 200817 yr As nice as this is, I have to wonder if it is there to distract from the fact that he had access to credit information. CaseA: He just wanted to play around on a high level account for a while because he dose not have one himself. CaseB: He wen't through an awful lot of effort to get credit information (possibly). And getting a password is hardly hacking. It just means he was keylogged or had a bad pass.
