I know I can fish monks really easy for cash, but do you think I should resell my Guthans to make some cash back and wait till I get some more money before I rebuy it? I use it for slayer, and its really handy.
October 12, 200817 yr Just as you said, Guthan helps while slaying; my advice would be to keep hold of it and get money through slayer.As your levels increase you could always sell the guthan back.

October 12, 200817 yr Author I am slaying :P I just finished a Fire Giant task (100+) and made about 200k from it (12 Fire Battlestaves :o). I know it will be awhile before I pay for it back, but the 5m in my account was nice to look at (poor player :P)
October 12, 200817 yr Fishing monks works better for your xp, not for your bank account. Keep guthans, it is well worth it; if you plan to continue slaying, go right ahead ! Having more coins sitting uselessly in your bank doesn't benefit you at all. Maybe if you had something that you needed to buy, then selling would be almost reasonable(never sell guthans ever). I would definately advise against wasting your time tryign to get points quickly... slayer helms really don't have much of an effect for slaying...the only real change is that you can use a black mask for dusties, besides that...it just looks nice and gives a bit more defense. I'd suggest that you stick with vannaka or chaeldaer(not sure of your combat), preferrably the fairy, and you'll get better tasks with better drops. October 12, 200817 yr Author Well right now I am going to avoid Duradel because there is a chance I won't be able to afford doing some of the tasks :lol: I'm going to stick with Chaedlar, long tasks, but usually pretty profitable. Right now I have 146 Turoths, which means clue scrolls, herbs, and seeds!

October 13, 200817 yr Just made 610k from a level 3 clue :) Which is exactly what I meant with "you will profit eventually". Most tasks won't actually cost you anything to do, the few that do you can normally make back during the task, and if you don't, you will in the next one. You don't have to use a cannon, melee will still work. Trust the Gene Genie!
October 13, 200817 yr Well as others said, if you have guthans just slay. Generally slayer isnt the best cash if you cant get a few good clue drops from it. Although, most likely camping with guthans is your BEST FRIEND, especially at good places. Camping is also good if you have 75 mage and lunar (and dream mentor) for dream spell ;) Other than this you can possibly kill green drags, without guthans of course lol. But seems you're going well so it isnt mandatory. I dont need a siggy no moar.
