I get really sick of those tiny grounds and flat pitches in India, where it's all about DLF Maximums and Karveen Kumar Catches and all that [cabbage]. I watched the repeat of the Australian game this morning and the last over of the Australian innings was a 5 wicket maiden :unsure:. But Australia still managed to go through for a win. The norwegian cricket team was on the news today (I've never seen that before in my life, and couldn't find any press on them in a major popular newspaper online the last 7 years). They were all completely norwegian, no accents, but they were all of commonwealth decent. They were on the news because they can't play international matches in norway at all, because their scoreboard was used as firewood sometime last year. the press noticed today. Well done to England, first ever WC. So much better with the approach from the top rather than leaving it all to do for KP & others; a fit & firing KP is superb to watch. Hopefully, they build on this & replicate in all forms of the game. India? Oh look there's a bouncer! Disappointing performance really. How is everyone holding up? India got dumped out of the tri-series, poor series really; just show that the bench strength is pretty weak. In saying that, Zimbabwe were good against India.
