The lead up:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

During the week we attempted to get a wilderness fight with no luck. Our forums have been up and down all week so it has been hard to get a proper sign up. Nevertheless after a few words exchanged between DF and COR both clans knew they were going to be fighting each other. Our preparation time was 3 days, but more like 2 with forums down for so long.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today we planned our fight, with the aim to hit DF. We knew TT wanted to hit them as well, since they had an amazing turnout also - however before clans were out Lukas talked to d0nts and gave them VR information so that we could fight DF. Unfortunately TT took out VR so fast that they started fighting DF after. We contacted TT and in very good spirits they pulled out of the fight allowing us to take on DF. This happened in world 55. **In the eyes of the public this was a crash (although we organised with TT what happened) - however this topic is about the actual fight, which took place on a different world and was exclusively DF v CoR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Obviously DF didnt understand what had happened and hopped to world 136. Corruption followed and so did Titans. On world 136 DF lead by homedawg rushed Corruption west of GDs. DF attacked CoR and from this point the CoR v DF fight began.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The starting opts:

 

 

 

CoR: 270opts

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DF: Going to say 200opts at the least since they had 70 in TS

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The fight:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The began with even as both clans hit each other with large numbers. Literally 2 mins into the fight our teamspeak crashed, twice. We had a back up but it too crashed! So hurriedly for about 30mins we scrapped together some random teamspeak on the web and moved as many people as we could into it. We picked up TS spies on the way but we didn't care, just needed a TS that badly. Seanq did an amazing job leading our regroup at east tree without a TS picking off random straggling Df.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tank for tank, pile for pile it was even at this stage. We faltered without a TS but our numbers stayed consistent. As the fight continued, Corruption maintained the numbers whilst DF lost their returners. Pushing on encouraged by our spam , binds and tanks we continued battering DF's fall ins whilst they kept piling as best they could with limited numbers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Around 2 and a half hours into the fight we noticed DF had dropped to extremely low amounts - so we sent snipers all over them. This worked effectively and resulted in our snipe unit holding more opts than DF's main fall in. At this point , around the 3 hour mark - DF called it off leaving Corruption standing victorious.

It wasn't the server, or our admins to blame, but we've been under attack from quite and experienced hacker for a number of weeks now. Even real security professionals have been unable to help stop them as of yet, and it's clearly linked to the clan world as whenever we mass for a fight our forums and teamspeak mysteriously go down. The backup went down just from 95 people joining it in about 20 seconds lol, but it came back when we joined it slowly. We've switched to a new server and only members are allowed the address, so hopefully it will be secure till we get our usual one back to normal.
