a_bert
Is there any use for them, seriously? +6hp < 2 extra doses, surely? 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!
Sy_Accursed
if u get them as a drop or w/e mid trip use them. The combined effect for free is ok. Making them however is just utter fail, simply because 95% of the time u need to pot u don't need to eat and vice versa meaning u just waste resources by using them Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
ladycai
However true that is, some people add a barbarian mix potion in addition to their regular potions in case they need it. I know many people who personally replace a reg pot with a barb pot. The barb pot isn't as effective but it helps when you want a dose of something and heal at the same time. Even though the health isn't that great a value :wall: :wall: 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
Troacctid
Hey, think about it. Two prayer mixes takes two inventory slots and provides 4 doses of prayer restoration as well as 24 hp of healing. One 4-dose prayer potion and a tuna potato also provides 4 doses of prayer restoration, but only 22 hp of healing. So strictly in terms of magnitude, the mix potions are certainly more effective than using both food and potions. The question is whether you want to take your prayer potion at the same time that you want to heal 6 hp. In addition, two prayer mixes are cheaper than a prayer pot (4) and a pineapple pizza, making them a fairly cost effective healing method. My friend uses prayer mixes at waterfiends, with great results. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Inuashakent
That's 24 hp/inventory space. you mean 12hp? 12 hp, but it gives half of a pot, therefore it gives 24 hp. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

No each dose heals 6HP so 2 doses heal 12HP. Barbarian potions only come in 2 doses so thats 12HP per inventory slot. Trust the Gene Genie! However, it gives half of a potion too, so shouldn't it be considered half of an inventory?
