Solo KBD Setup

Featured Replies

I kinda want some KBD heads so I think I will solo him for it. Anyone know what I wear/bring? Tip.It's guide is kinda outdated by a few years...

I'd prefer to range cause I need range xp still, but if melee is far superior I'll do that. I have 96 range, 96 summon, and 99 defense. Don't call me nub for not knowing how to solo KBD, I'm nub at lots of things. O and I think I use lunars for that teleport to ice plateau which is all close like, I hate those pillar things, they never go to the right spot.

Also, about how many kills a trip would I get

all you really need is karils, ruby and diamond bolts if you want fast kills, snakeskin boots, antifire sheild, 1-2 antifire pots, few pray pots, couple range pots and some good food, go close and pray melee :) 1 click tele 1st few times to make sure you're ok, ooohhh super antipoison too! think thats it

If you're on a Slayer task, Melee is a bit better. If not, range is better.

I'd bring 2 range pots, an antipoison, antifire, and ~5-6 Prayer potions. It really depends if you're using a Yak or a Tortoise.

Tip.it's guide sucked the day it was written. They recommend using ruby bolts for the entire fight, lol.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Wouldn't a Lava Titan be a good option for tele'ing there? No need for a BoB if you can bank that fast.

No idea if this actually works, just throwing it out there.

was thinking the same thing about the lava titan

That's why he wanted to use lunars, and sacrificing 30 extra spaces(I don't see why you would use a turtle instead of a cow, aren't they a lot cheaper?) for a decentish fighter and maybe 10 seconds saved per trip is not worth it in my opinion.

You could also throw in those FOG slayer gloves if you're on task. They are MUCH better than barrows gloves ranging and debatable, I think, for melee.

With a yak and range (diamond (e)) you should be able to get a good 15 kills per trip, just adjust the potions as you see necessary after the first trip.

Maybe start with 1 super anti, 2 range, 1 super def, 1-2 antifires, 5 prayer pots.

I'd say a Lava titan is best cause you can bank and go back in like 1 minute. This way you can bring cheap food and quickly telly back.

If the lunar tele is really that close, bring a yack. I'd really really recommend strawberries since you'll have to wait pretty long in between spawns, which is ideal for the slowly eatable strawberries. 30hp for under 400gp, you cant have it any better.

After thinking, lunar + yack might actually be best (since yack fights too, and is stronger than a lava titan, right?).

Bring monkfish/pineapple pizza and strawberries + potions, I wouldnt know the exact amount though.
